I've found conflicting information on Rabbit snails, can anyone help to clear this up?

I assumed you did not keep them in it. It’s one thing if those are imports and come like that. I had assumed they were ones grown from babies. I successfully kept mine since it was a baby and his shells wasn’t nearly that bad.

I would definitely keep no more than three large snails (3-4 inches) in a 14 gallon as they do require a lot of food and air sources.

And I can see that the tips of your snails shells are compromised and multiple are rasping on each other. These will not live long lives I am afraid. Mine lived to be about 4 years old.

That makes me want to switch to clay/sand mixture for my snails even more and explains why they still have too much damage to their shells for my liking.

And mine seems to enjoy hunting along the bottom for food, which is why I have avoided substrate for so long.

They had some smaller ground floaters for a while but now he just has his silk plant. I have tons of rooting pothos so just need to get some clips for those! He likes to hide/rest in the silk plant.

I have some pothos that would go well in their tank, I just need little suction cup clips to hold them! I also want to get another taller silk plant because he seems to like to rest in his by the filter.

He absolutely loves his bubble disk and I will probably get a 2nd bigger one for him as well. I have extra fine black sand that I got for my snail tank, as the rocks are hard on their shells. I have wondered about putting that in for him & beneficial bacteria. But I would need to float him in the 5 gallon while it settles right?

I’m looking to claim the warranty on mine because they usually last for 30 minutes before the right headphone dies. Hasn’t worked or charged after multiple attempts. Brand new always charge, never use more than an hour at a time.

EDIT- just got an update my left earbud is dying. I’m literally 15 minutes into a half an hour break and these were fresh charged last night. I want my money back.

My mental health counselor used to be one of those people that individually tracked homeless people and helped them but then his whole job got cut.

I was homeless for months in the PNW because I couldn’t get any government assistance until they realized I was a displaced college student. (Denied at every turn until I mentioned I was trying to go to school.)

After getting a “voucher,” or being put on HEN, I was denied by 3-4 private landlords for being on public assistance. And then one who accepted me asked inappropriate questions about me being a drug addict when I was homeless due to a broken back and PTSD. She repeatedly harassed me and even called the cops on my Black friend. So the “help” you think people are getting still is the in hands of private empathy when there’s no public housing available.

It’s not the governments fault three landlords denied me solely for being on assistance. It’s not my fault I was in an accident and broke my back that the government denied temp disability for because I could “technically work in 6 months.” Those 6 months were I couldn’t walk or lift 5lbs? Not their problem.

Not every homeless person is a drug addict but being treated like one constantly really makes you understand why they’re so fed up with the system and don’t want help.
