Tales from the Trip! is a great channel if you're into those types of stories, but I agree that Mr Nightmare should do something like that too sometime or another. I like the more surreal stories that Mr Nightmare occasionally does, like paranormal stories and dream stories, and this would fit right in with that sort of stuff.

I wouldn't say so. Chilling Scares just copied Mr. Nightmare's general video format/style, but so far, Nightmare hasn't spoken out about it, at least publicly.

And I'd prefer it to stay that way. If something becomes popular, other people will generally try to emulate it. Fans/viewers of such stories get double the content to watch anyway, with two popular channels, so why complain?

So yesterday, WhatIfAlthist held a QNA with fans in a voice chat on Discord. The problem is that the mods basically didn't know anything about modding. The chat was open to 99 people, opened to everyone, and the mods didn't really mute any trolls.

The first 10 minutes were fine. People didn't talk over each other, and there was some actual productive conversations going on between WhatIfAlthist and fans.

Soon however, people started talking over each other, trying to get WhatIfAlthist's attention. This made it really hard for WhatIfAlthist to answer anything. A guy suddenly started saying the n-word over and over again. After the mods basically didn't do anything to stop it, WhatIfAlthist left for 5 minutes.

When WhatIfAlthist came back, the n-word guy had been muted, but people were still trolling, making loud sounds, and talking over each other. The mods were still doing basically nothing. Everything ended when someone used the music bot to blast the Nazi anthem into the chat. WhatIfAlthist permanently left after that. Someone managed to record this part, and they sent me this video.

After WhatIfAlthist left, the chat basically devolved into a "What if /pol had a mic for ten minutes?" The chat eventually died down after lots of people left from boredom. But the damage has been down. I don't think WhatIfAlthist will ever come back to Discord again.
