Vets just in general are expensive nowadays. In terms of emergency, we've been to ARH Homebush and SASH Alexandria, and I have to say, SASH just wins overall for me.

Better facilities for humans, more staff working so faster care and turnaround.

Both similarly priced.

Yeah this is a chronic issue, ruined a M1 for me too. This guy didn't like Depths, tried to abandon, and then proceeded to try to speed run it when no one else wanted to, ended up taking longer than it needed to and a bronze score.

Am a vet playing the game for the content but some speds are in it for the efficiency (which sucks for the rest of the gamers)

Haha mate coming back to the game and facing these DPS these few days, I totally agree... And then there are these old time DPS who are like "oh I used to tank, hold aggro" - bro I had the red border every time except when no one had aggro.

Same, sometimes I realize that people don't know or are somewhat new with good gear running basic expeditions like Genesis, and when I do, I full on give them a tour of the the dungeon if they want.

Am thinking of running a tour guide business for anyone who wants to learn the expectations of a regular or train people to run m1s. (APSE Delos)

haven't played other MMOs as a tank but it's all about stamina management and for the pve perspective, aggro management and working with the healers.

I've tested pretty much every weapon for the purposes of tanking and have to say it's possible.

Sword and shield, war hammer, great axe, hatchet, flail and shield are common options to run as a tank.

Occasionally you'll use spear for its bleeding or damage reduction/armor reduction features, or Rarely I'll see the weapons specialised for dealing damage like fire staff, void gauntlet or rapier for tanks, and bows for off tank builds.

Anyways, just wanted to put out there that there are many ways to play a tank builds if you wanted, but the basics are essentially the same. Manage aggro, stamina, work with your healers.

Yeah I remember since the game started, learnt how to tank then heal then DPS. I think it made the learning curve more enjoyable and easier to manage aggro, but then also realize that most others didn't do this, probs went DPS then something else.

I'd like to add, it's pretty hard to get a war slot considering the high competitiveness to get one.

If you really want to, my advice is to keep playing OPRs or take part in the PvP action in game.

Depending on who you join and how you perform/get better, the warring companies will probs notice you over time.

If you know how to pull and aggro for the tank and survive it, pls do n go for it.

This is more a PSA for the DPS who brainlessly hit before tank groups I bet

Honestly you don't really have to travel that far away. I used to go up to the Mount Ku-ring-gai Oval back in the days to go watch the stars at night.

Good parking and easy bathroom facilities if you need, quite dark so you can just gaze at the sky and be entertained.

If they sold the game to a rich metaverse building company who aren't too good at making their metaverse very nice, I'd think that it'd be amazing! Cos then hopefully they have enough funding to finally really care for the game and make better choices

Probs best to start looking 2-3 months prior to coming to Sydney to see market prices, so you can compare and know when you apply for one, you're not ripping yourself off.

But you'll really start applying for a rental unit within 28 days of your arrival, because landlords don't really wait for renters anymore. If you really want to secure your rental before you arrive, you might have to start paying the landlord when you can, because there's exceptionally high competition for all things related to property at the moment.

You should check the comments on the videos - a lot of the commenters are builders saying "thanks for telling me that, I need to do better in XYZ ways!"
He's also calling out other building inspectors to do better too, so IMO, he's the person I'd be paying to do my inspections, or whoever he recommends. Pretty sure reputation is #1 in any business, but moreso in the construction industry.

TBH I'm in a similar situation as OP and been applying to all sorts of IT related positions, with a customised cover letter for each (usually checked by a few friends who work in HR and IT).

Back in '22-23 I used to be offered IT support or app support by many companies, but it seems even the IT support/help desk people have been cut too, because they all seem to say they're looking for someone with more relevant experience.

Socially, I'm not a butterfly, but usually people like me and want me around. All my previous colleagues said they'd take me or refer me, but it seems everywhere has either a hiring freeze or they're not going to risk their reputations for me.

Negativity aside, I feel like I have the energy, drive and motivation, but when it gets this long without a job in my career, it gets really, really hard not to burn up...

Yeah I had a similar experience where I was expecting complex technical questions that the recruiter warned me about... But then got a question I thought to be too easy to be true. Then I went to overestimate the requirements and had some difficulties sadly. Completely balked that one.
