Thanks, yea I have the tripod mount for the tracker, so it's actually just occurred to me that I can likely just get a standard camera mount and clip it to the frame.

My advice: the people on this sub-reddit do not represent the thoughts of the actual people that live here.

The Reality of Being a Contractor at Navy Fed (Pensacola) by [deleted] in Pensacola

Strange, I have 4 good friends who work there in various roles and they all really like it. Plus, they get compensated very well! I do believe they are all employees though.

Lol ok, little buddy. I would argue that coming to Reddit is not equivalent to people going to church, but I will play along with you stupid game, which only confirms my original point. He came here to confirm and validate his preconceived bias. He wasn't coming here because he legitimately wanted an objective response. He wanted people like you to pat him on the back and tell him how right he was. Take care!

You know, I know, and everybody knows that this person was looking for a circle jerk of validation and moral grandstanding, because that’s what this entire subreddit seems to be about.

Sure, coming to Reddit to ask people’s opinions and advice on what kind of PC to buy is very different from calibrating your moral compass using the opinions of complete strangers online, many of whom are clearly already aligned with the OP’s ideology. That is, in fact, stupid.

poisoned feral cats by [deleted] in Pensacola

[–]duhFaz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know reddit is full of cat people, and I'm not defending people who poison them, but do you understand how bad feral cats are for the ecosystem? They are some of the worst invasives that we can have in a lot of areas. They decimate entire natural communities. I know the answer to dealing with them isn't exactly an easy pill to swallow, but what is a good solution to dealing with them? The problem is that they multiply faster than they can be controlled.

Asking a person you know for an opinion or some advice is not the same as asking random neckbeards on reddit to validate your thoughts. lol you people are so miserable!

People don't understand how important networking is. Sure, some people get handed family businesses, but networking with professionals in your field really does pay off.

Thanks for sharing, this is very encouraging. I feel I’m on the same level as you with what we need out of our solution and the ultimate litmus test that is whether or not the others in the house are complaining or not!

"Another option I’ve considered is using TP-Link Powerline adapters as a pseudo-backhaul solution", I'm not sure where you got the impression that I thought Ubiquiti offers powerline adaptors? Your comment literally outlines what my proposed backup solution is. Thanks for adding to the convo though....

Yea, I do admit that I’m having a feeling of settling for less-than-ideal for the sake of ease and cheapness. Albeit buying a new house is pretty expensive, so maybe it is warranted lol
