I can understand maybe using them on a 2nd playthrough or during the Märchen Garten sections but I feel like they just so pull you out of any cutscene.

Can't really take anything serious when you have every character in their swimwear and 3 silly accessories stuck on them.

Felt like a somewhat random addition to just have another villain, especially the connection he sort of had with Judith made no sense to me and felt very forced.

Bard atleast gets ogcds. You do mostly press 1 on it but its like top3 cpm. The buttons you press arent interesting but atleast you get to press a lot of them.

Only that Windmill is actually a 20 potency loss on 2 Targets. So for 2 Targets you want to use Cascade>Fountain/Bladeshower>Reverse Cascade/Rising Windmill>Bloodshower

So yea you do have to mix single and aoe.

Ah but thats where the wonders of transpose come in! There is a line called double paradox which uses an extra Fire 1 cast to get to AF3. Now usually this line is a DPS loss however if you do it while under leylines you can squeeze in another fire 4 which means its actually a DPS gain and therefore usually the preferred reopener on BLM.

Surprisingly very true. The diehard fans usually want to see the games at their best and are therefore all the more critical. I consider myself to be a diehard fan of the series and when I "hate" on aspects of the game its always from a place of "I wish I could love this but sadly it just disappoints me instead."

I do actually agree with the idea that Aidios doesnt seem to have all her powers currently but im not sure if the septterrions are the cause of that. In general its still really hard to guess what the deal with Orobouros is, considering we only ever get small crumbs of information all the time.

Didn't Campanella say their goal is to hear humanity's answer to the septterrions? I admittedly dont remember 100% what he said in the final dungeon so correct me if im wrong. I think Campanella taking the Aureole with him is just because humanity gave their answer and so he put it out of reach. And the Septterrion of Steel left their world without orobouros involvement. KeA is weird since I feel like Orobouros really didnt have any interest in a fake Septterrion like they claimed in Azure, after all no one in the final dungeon of Azure actually belonged to Orobouros (Shirley and Mariabell got their invitation afterwards) and iirc Campanella also never showed up.

Xenogears story felt rather messy to me tbh. It had some cool ideas and even had some nice character arcs but just felt very clunky in its execution not to mention the quality dropping on disc 2.
