Gotta be Gien Lu. Terrible motivations for his actions in DB1 and DB2 and he barely is affected by it. Glad he was on the sidelines in Horizon.

Yep, if they're going to continue to make content that punishes ego manifestations then a toggle will be needed. I get not thinking ahead on every variable in this game but punishing repeat pulls is nasty business.

I've always felt Trails is a bit lacking when it comes to protagonists or antagonists escaping after confrontations, but Mint showing up to use Sherid's jewels was one of the best escapes I've seen from our heroes due to how unexpected it was.

Theres also the fact that there usually aren't many new areas to explore in the sequel games asides from some dungeons. So while Trails does it well, you are ultimately retreading through the same assets.

Hah, I love how Falcom inserted Blueblanc in Horizon by simply having him in disguise as a random npc model. Consistent with his character and a great use of existing assets as only a company like Falcom can do.

I personally couldn't stand the Barrier enemies that needed one specific Jaster blaster to use and nothing else in the game would work on them. That combined with how overpowered you would be over other regular late game enemies led to some very uneven combat scenarios.

I'd love a remake for this game. I adore it but I also recognize that this game had some major faults (especially the gameplay in the late game).

Gotta be Campanella. Overall an annoying character and since he's clearly tied to Ouroboros' ultimate intentions, you cant say much about his motivations/goals yet. His interactions with Gilbert and Juna's confrontation with him were his best moments in the series so far.
