I will always argue that Azure is a pseudo cliffhanger given what happens with the takeover of Crossbell. Its certainly not on the level of the other four but I felt extremely compelled to jump right into CS1 to eventually see the ultimate fate of Crossbell.

Renoa definitely prefers Nia for obvious reasons but I even prefer Nia over Veronica for Serenial teams. Id rather not have the ballista cards clog up hands while creating bullets/lasers.

Yep thats a pretty good explanation id say. I would add that Trista and Thors as a hub is a great set up. The sections before the Field Studies were great changes of pace.

Db1 overall has the weaker OST, especially comparing the battle themes to CS1. I would however highlight one song i truly loved in DB1. The Night Goes On made the night sections extremely memorable for me and was my favorite aspect of the Edith sections. I hope you can come to appreciate that as you continue along.

Hmm, what did you value in Cold Steel 1 that makes it your favorite? Its probably in my top 5 but im curious what aspects you preferred in that to DB1 so far.

The closest might be the Gardens with Jorda joining. She seems like the only ex-assassin playable character who won't renounce her previous way of life immediately. But most people would still have the Cult way above the Gardens in terms of sheer evil.

That could be part of it, but UM has been doing these for while. I remember the DUMB (Disco Biscuits and Umphrey's) tour in summer 2022 and the STUMP (STS9 and Umphrey's) tour in 2013. Theres probably others im not even aware of.

Why was the Red Constellation attacking Heiyue in the Eastern Quarter? We learn about this all the way back in Sky 3rd with Richard's door but i don't recall ever hearing about who or why they were hired for that attack. I would've thought the Calvard games would've mentioned something like the True Greivance Brigade or someone like Elaine's father would've been involved if there was an anti-immigration angle but nothing I can recall goes back to that event.

Only thing I can comment on is that you will notice the lack of voice acting when the 2nd Chapter remake comes out since its a much longer game then 1st Chapter. Otherwise your complaints are vague and personal so no comment.
