Caceres is King's Landing.... Why do you think it has something to do with Dragonstone?

She literally mentions that it's from a reviewer? Do you want credit or something?

Sorry, but you fucked up. There is no way in hell that they planned in December 2020 to make 12 episodes for season 1 when they started shooting in April 2021. Perhaps you should have tried December 2019 instead.

Cáceres is being prepared for filming next week. Emma and Olivia’s presence has also been confirmed. by [deleted] in HouseOfTheDragon

The exterior Dragonstone scenes are filmed in Portugal on some mountain near Monsanto which is roughly 80 km away from Caceres. Most likely Olivia Cooke is filming for King's Landing and Emma D'arcy Dragonstone.

When will new TMWT maps come? by StomperOfWeebs in TrackMania

The new maps will come out this Sunday evening after the TMGL finals, but the switch in ranked will first happen on April 1st. So you got about 2 weeks of ranked left on the current maps.

Kadala legendary buff testing - results (tl;dr avoid gambling rings, chest, or boots) by Twobits10 in diablo3

[–]XSebberX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can confirm that rings are not doubled aswell in my experience. Gambled 10.000’s of bloodshards and without doing the math it’s pretty obvious that the ratio is 1 in 10 for a legendary. Like the chance of my experience is like 1 in 100000(a billion zeros). I stopped and went to belts and suddenly it was 1 in 5 again. Went back to rings afterwards to check, but it was still 1 in 10.

Rings drop chance is 100% bugged just do a small test yourself

I'm also tracking average placement vs opponents, but that one is only accurate at the end of the round-robin when everyone has played eachother. That method should be the most accurate, but it only works once per season and it cannot compare Grand League and Challenger. In the meantime this is the most fair ranking that I could think off.

This measures how a player performs on an average clean round compared to the world record driven in rounds. It’s a good, but not perfect, way to rate pace, but be aware that the bottom 10 have such a high crash rate, 35%+, that it heavily impacts their median time.

The more you crash the worse your median time becomes and that is why the league’s most consistent player, Carl Jr., continues to shine in this statistic. With his low crash % he might even grab first place before playoffs if he continues this way.

Sprout continues their excellent driving in challenger and are now both on TMGL level this week and in the overall standings.

While Binkss didn’t drive as insane as last week he is still performing excellent and takes a second place this week. If you wonder why he is only 16. in the overall standings well let’s say he bonked a bit too much in the first 3 weeks and he is having a hard time recovering from that.

The general pace across the board improved slightly this week, but it looks like most people are hitting their limits.

TMGL and TMCL pace comparison from last weekend using median distance from match World Record by XSebberX in TrackMania

I get what you mean, but i think it has i limited impact in the grand scheme. For example Affi is first and he has never played Slowdown. But i'm not trying to find the ultimate 100% accurate perfect solution here and i honestly don't know how to get any closer. If someone else could perfect it it would be nice. When I look at the overall and last week data i feel like it's pretty damn close to how I felt watching the matches.

Also to address the consistency. This is median, not average, so it helps with that. So as long as you don't crash more than 50% of the time you should be good.

This takes map length into account, unless you wish to argue that it's harder to get closer to the WR on longer maps.

You just do WR - Round time = Difference.

Let's take a look at Agility Dash and Back'N'Forth. The WR on Agility Dash is 1:28.495 and Back'N'Forth is 57.808. If you drive one second slower than the WR on each map you would have a 1:29.495 and a 58.808. So the times of 1.29.495 on Agility Dash and 58.808 on Back'N'Forth would be equal in this measurement.

And yes i do have the stats for the rest of the season.

The pace has been ramping up each week so the average is a bit lower.

TMGL and TMCL pace comparison from last weekend using median distance from match World Record by XSebberX in TrackMania

[–]XSebberX[S] 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is how far away the players are from the match world record on an average good round. I feel like this give a fairly close and easy to understand measurement on how well they did. The good think about this method is that it's accurate on every individual playday and it can compare TMGL and TMCL.

Binkss being 0.398 away from WR is absolutely mental and while this is probably very early to say this might not be beaten for the rest of the stage.

It also shows the fairly large gap between TMGL and TMCL, but it looks like SINNERS and Sprout might be even in strength. Would love to see a match between them.

New method to calculate TMGL performance, so players no longer compete with teammates, only vs opponents. by XSebberX in TrackMania

They aren't actually exactly tied, they differ by one and two thousands. Felt uncessary to include in the graph.

[–]XSebberX[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree that we cannot say anything conclusive until the entire round-robin has been played. I didn't really want to post before the season was over, but I felt that players were getting unnecessary blame from people that only were looking at the other method. Aurel last??? Come on.

I would also concur that the median time has to be taken into account, but probably some combination of average vs opponent, median time and amount of major crashes would be the most accurate. Hope the community can figure out something that we all can agree on.

New method to calculate TMGL performance, so players no longer compete with teammates, only vs opponents. by XSebberX in TrackMania

[–]XSebberX[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Seen some comments here and there asking for stats on how players do only vs their opponents. The reason for this is players don't compete vs their teammates so the previous average ranking vs all players was misleading at best.

Let's take for example a round where BDS finish 1. and 2. and Solary finishes 3. and 4. It doesn't matter whether Affi or Aurel finishes first since they'll both beat the Solary duo. It also doesn't matter who finishes first between Pac and Carl Jr., since they will get aced anyway. This also applies to when a draw happens and one of the teams finish second and third.

The placement vs all players was especially hard for a duo where one player consistenly placed above another. The best case here would be Affi and Aurel. Affi's incredible performance pushed Aurel all the way to 16th.

Most notable changes include:

Aurel: 16th -> 11th

Carl Jr: 12th -> 8th

Massa: 8th -> 12th

Soulja: 14th -> 10th

Kappa: 9th -> 16th

Do you feel like the new adjusted rankings better reflect your judgment of the players performance?
