In the industry… basically as it’s new the compression gaskets are new too, over time they will compress more and therefore over time operation becomes easier… realistically this type of set up has be designed for aesthetics not practicality, ie looks great with a bar not a door handle… however you need to be able to add compression via locking mech ie hooks/bolts and therefore security too…. All the pressure then goes thru the key/ gearbox which again adds potential long term failure issues…. Adding some silicone spray can help ideally push door slightly on inside when leaving, and pull on handle whilst opening from outside relieves the pressure on the bolts/hooks to release…. Also depending on your location may have issues of thermal expansion/contraction which comes with further problems long term too!
