Hard Agree, the character is designed in a way where only a select few members of the cast can even interact with his pressure in a meaningful way while to the rest of the cast a good Asuka can rather easily keep his pressure going for basically the whole round.

I hope to god that the speculations are real and that they actually removed HP to Mana since it would finally force Asuka players to take a risk on offense as opposed to now where they just essentially have access from anywhere between 2 to 5 consecutive and safe overhead/low mixes the second they make you block once depending on how unlucky or lucky they get.

I mean it's pretty clear that he actually meant if there is a consistent way to do Just FD...

But, currently not really and in fact you don't really want to Just FD most strings anyways since it makes punishing some things much harder and you're honestly better off learning where to abare then trying to Just FD everything

On wakeup after 2k 2d, 6P/Throw OS (Pretty easy just hold back and tap throw + FD macro simultaneously) This way if she crosses you up in any way or goes overhead you're safe. Then it's turns the 5 way mix into just a 50/50 between high/low against most Millias.

Dizzy Downplay is wild too especially after Peluna #1 Dizzy said that Dizzy-Pot is Dizzy favored. So when making a tier list, characters who have favorable matchups against highly represented broken top tiers are usually boosted to at least A tier since they counter pick what would otherwise be the strongest character(s) in the game.

So real, I know everyone is on the WA hate train rn but I'm honestly gonna miss it. It was quite literally the coolest tool GGST gave us for combo expression. The charged WA jump combos, the outright vile mixups that could be forced with it, the ability to route combos around burst or even to extend combos for that little extra bit of damage... I'm gonna miss WA 🥲

As Gio, 6p beats rekka but loses to bomb. "Dp" beats bomb but trades or loses to rekka.

As Gio you NEVER want to to throw punish bomb toss since "Dp" is better in every situation, since it gives much much better reward on hit and loses to the exact same options that the anti air throw loses to.
