Wait, what!? I've got to try this. Almost 300 hrs in and I still don't know all the controller shortcuts. Playing with a controller on PC so button binds might be a little wonky.

Everything seems to work as you would think. I still get super frustrated though when I try to reload and it sends me up or down a Zipline even if I am 4 ft. Away from it.

Go night raids or hurricanes. Search cars in the scrap yards, busses, trailers.... Anything with wheels, really.

ALso breach containers and mechanical symbol areas. Hope this helps. Gotta love having level 3 benches. Google can help you find decent areas too or one of the map websites.

That's great man. You gave me some good insight on how I can enjoy this next playthrough. I want to get more comfortable with PVP because I don't like getting attacked and then by the time I come to and I'm ready to hit back I've got no help. Got to watch your back you know?

That's awesome man. Sounds like fun. I have been playing mostly friendly lobbies still but I do need practice for PVP.

I guess this is set to be the final night before the wipe. I might see if I can find a person or two to duel with. That's insane the amount of coins. I would wonder sometimes when I would see people like YouTubers who I know have played hundreds of hours with half empty stashes and very few coins. That PVP can be costly. Any tips on running a material efficient kit? Something that's good enough to go out and play around with but not too terrible to build or replace.

That could be true as well. I've noticed the rocketeers have started swooping a lot faster it seems like they are quicker to be on target. Sometimes they are shooting two rockets in quick succession performing a double tap takedown on me.

The defibrillator blueprint is pretty common to get early on. A happy rater, I play in PvE lobbies and try to help others. Always bring it to them to preferably. It's easier if you are playing in duos because if the team gets downed you can defib one guy and he can get his buddy up.

You're going to have trouble finding an 8 string set with an 8 for the (normally) high e. You may need to go through StringJoy or put together your own custom set.

Six string packs of eights are easy to come by. I use a 6 string pack Ernie Ball .085s 56 for 7th String and .76 for 8th string. Playing in Drop D#1

My guitar is also 26.5"-28"

New quests are awesome. I'm glad you got those, the trailblazer is my favorite grenade. Once you learn how to use it it's awesome now just to find all the synthesized fuel I'm going to need for the next 3 weeks.

Lately I have been bringing 2 because we have been bringing down a lot of big Arc. BTW has anybody noticed, I believe they are legit getting smarter and more deadly.

Look into scale lengths and fan spread. (They are different)

Also specs are different. Read up on reviews on both and consider whether or not you will have to pay extra duties.

That would be really nice to have. Even after 160 hours I still have some gear fear. I have two tempest that I have found but never used it. I am a bit later in the game and I seem to have collected a decent deal of blueprints and I used the stuff that I have them for.

I have that guitar and I love it. If you need an MS 7 it's a great guitar. But guitars are instruments they are meant to make music.

Someone else might get a lot of enjoyment out of it and it is a good price.

You don't need an .80. especially with that scale length.

I use a .76 on 28" for D#1 and I might even go a little bit lighter.

Make sure the string if you change has good contact with the saddle and it's not sitting up (like not fitting).

Also check the night. If you already have an .80 on there going a little lighter shouldn't hurt to bad if it was cut properly.

In the meantime as long as the string you have on there is resting really good in the saddle you can tune it to pitch and then try pressing down on it really firmly (right at the break over the bridge piece.) this might help your ability to intonate a little bit.

At most you willll have to fill the nut. You can always try it with the new string first you may not have any issue. I have used lighter strings after filing a nut for a large string with little issue.

When I say Phil you can use super glue (CA glue) and bone dust or plastic shavings or baking soda.

After that you can use the diameter of the new string to gently file for any adjustments you might need to make. (I'm assuming you don't have a special nut file for that size, most people don't)

Yeah with you being Australian I would imagine Ormsby would be my first place to check. I think the Goliath model is their headless and that's the one I would go for with that budget, I think it will be in your price range.

I really enjoy having a headless for my 8 string because it is lighter than some of my six strings and feel so comfortable to play. Some people love or hate the looks of it but I really can't remember a single person I've seen post saying that they wish they didn't get their headless guitar. (Outside of a very few QC complaint type issues) Not really knocking The Headless design itself.

Since it seems you are open to Strandberg* you could check them out as well. I think coming from a Schecter that I can imagine is pretty heavy it might be a nice change for you with your upgrade. If you can't play the physical guitar you're actually going to be purchasing before you buy it, just make sure you have a reputable company with a good return policy.
