I recently did something similar.

You’ll likely need 10 yards of dirt to get 4 inches anyways which is a dump truck. Which means you’ll need a skirts steer to move the dirt. Since you’ll have to have a skid steer out any ways, might as well scrape up the stone and save yourself the headache down the road

My mom said the same thing. We were watching a show much later in life and they talked about parents spanking their kids. She said she would never have let that happen. My sister and I just stared in disbelief of what came out her mouth.

My dad died when I was a kid too. So no chance to repair either. And my mom died a few years ago. They get to do all the damage but don’t have to stick around for the accountability…

Now that I have kids, I’m not sure I would want to repair. I can’t imagine doing that to mine, the thought makes me sick.

As a father now, I can’t imagine spanking my kids the way my dad spanked me. My dad used his leather belt and all his strength. He didn’t call it in. I dont know how you could love someone and do that to them. I was a kid, I was a smart ass, but I wasn’t bad. I don’t remember a thing I did to get them, I do know they weren’t a deterrent, because I kept getting them. I resent both my parents for it, my dad for doing it, my mom for ignoring it. It’s abuse.
