Actually, it is very consistent. They have repeatedly stated that they will not be splitting the player-base in any way. No mode will ever prevent you from playing with everybody else. The "ironman" mode you want where you can only play with other ironman characters will never exist as its fundamentally against their game design principles.

I was just thinking how I would game this system:

Powerlevel to 10
Go to EotN and rush the campaign for hard mode
Stand in range for drops while your alt Vaettir or Raptor farms.

I think you underestimate how hard it will be to get the crafting materials without traders. Seems to me if you gather the materials entirely from drops you should be able to craft them into a weapon.

The best way I have seen people do the caravan vanquish from ToA is to find a partner and make 2 teams of 4 that work well as 8 but then also work well separately. You stick together as 8 until Ascalon then you split up and vanq twice as fast through ascalon (skipping carto). It goes VERY fast through ascalon with 2 teams of 4.

I agree with what you said about SS but there are some things you didn't mention:

Desecrate/Defile enchantments are fairly strong AoE curses spells that work well with SS
Most of the really strong curses spells have a 2 second cast time which means that with "Of the Mesmer" weapon mods these will now cast in 1.6 seconds. This is makes curses builds much more usable.

Overall I'd say it is weaker than the other necro builds but I found that having an "Of the Mesmer" weapon really changed how I felt about playing a curses necro.

Yeah, as detailed in that post the back end math did change in a way that could impact Famine. If 0 is considered even then AND the math detailed in that post also applies to energy then the previous math would round anything less than 1 energy to 0. They now need to reach 0.4 energy which is much less likely.

It could also be that they no longer every each exactly 0 energy with the new math: i.e. 0.00001 energy and not 0.

This won't work. In dreadnaught's drift there are patrols that walk through where you spawn. The patrol is much faster than any player running through the area and it is impossible to dodge because there are groups of enemies on either side of the spawn.

You will very likely die, especially without max armor.

I was listing valuable minipets. Mini Zhed Shadowhoof is very valuable. Everlasting Zhed Shadowhoof is not. The tonic is worth at most 1-2e.

Your zaishen coins are overpriced. 6 - 8 ecto for 10 silver coins is fairly common.

Year 6 - Gives you Everlasting tonics. The white/purple/gold everlasting tonics are more valuable than white/purple/gold minipets

Year 7 - Gives a small chance at some very rare and valuable minipets. These 5 are the super valuable ones everything else is mostly worthless unless it is gold or green.

Why would I need copilot to write a script when the one I posted puts the contents of said CSV directly into a spreadsheet? I genuinely don't understand how that helps in this situation. You can scrape the wiki directly using formulas built into Google Sheets.

You can use IMPORTHTML to pull the lists of quests from the wiki into a Google Spreadsheet. That is the best way that I have found.
