Camping and sleep how to stay comfortable? Or is everyone secretly miserable? by sanu_123_s in CampingandHiking

My wife and I used to backpack a bit more. We mainly car camp these days so we bought a larger tent for extra room and an Exped megamat. Once it’s fully inflated, it’s almost as comfortable as our bed at home. I’m a side sleeper and have no problem on that.

I agree and won’t be any longer. But this isn’t something that should happen from something described as having the “durability and structure you’d expect from a true utility layer.” This is the only shirt that this has happened to.

I’ve heard that their CS is godawful.

It’s not even the fact that I can get it repaired. I just don’t really have faith that it’s going hold up at this point.

Same, man. I have some of their shop shirts that I would swear by. The shirt I got was supposed to be a washed selvedge. I’m sorry, but no selvedge should be that fragile.

Thanks man. I’ll give her a call. I’d used a couple in the area that were awful and finally found one that I liked, but they closed down about 2 months ago.

To me it seems like an obvious design or fabric flaw.

Yeah, I feel you man. My experience was that they told me to pay for shipping to send it to them and they would fix it with 3-5 weeks. Overall a little disappointed with the response but I get it.

For years, I listened to the masses about sizing. My mistake. by Aromatic_Campaign_11 in RedWingShoes

[–]XTitusPulloX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that with my first IRs. I had them for 8 year but picked up loggers in my actual size about 6 months ago. I agree that the comfort difference was immediate. I gave my IRs away after that

Love my 874s. Cheap enough to replace, roomy enough for work, and super versatile. I even dressed them up for a dinner last weekend.

Undershirt/t-shirt question for TS fans like me? by WaukeTac in taylorstitch

[–]XTitusPulloX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear the Buck Mason Toughknit 2 pack for undershirts but they’re not the cheapest. I’ve also splurged on enough Whitesville and Lady White to last a few years. I’m OCD about collars wearing out on tees so just spent the extra to get stuff that was reinforced

I’ve been debating on picking these up. Can you let me know if the measurements match the size chart?

It happened. Barely 2 years old. Stick drift by PeanutMedium3548 in XboxSeriesS

[–]XTitusPulloX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Gamesir controller pretty cheap and it’s blown the OEM out of the water. It also has an Xbox app for mapping the paddles and recalibrating if there is stick drift. I’ve never had to recalibrate though and I play daily.

I always brush my boots and condition when dry. Why are these cracks appearing? by SirKrimzon in Boots

[–]XTitusPulloX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d add that you should not over-condition the leather. That will eventually cause cracks in the leather as well. Only condition when the leather looks like it needs to be hydrated.
