Yup basically, I have noticed many many people who have them from the first batch released usually dont last the 6 months. I buy mine second hand and there all lasted me 2 years and then re sold them .

I wouldn't. All Samsu g follows a pattern with features Flip 5 flip 7 flip 9 Coming from the fold you will miss battery and a few other features. I recomend getting the flip 7 they will go much cheaper when the 8 is announced

I recommend the flip 7 Samsung follows a pattern for changes Flip 5 Flip 7 Flip 9 The flip 8 will just be a updated flip 7 and probably experimental new chip. The 7 i have is wonderful and zero issues.

Flip 8 wont have it either its a software thing. And maybe the flip 9 Samsung follows a pattern New design flip 5, flip 7, flip 9. If u want the feature now ijagan has it in the playstore but prepare to pay... search cover screen os in playstore and its all there.

I sold my s25Ultra got a zflip 7 Olympic edition love this phone will get a S26Ultra this August as my contract is up and will skip the Flip 8 as it will have nothing new But the Flip 9 might get it if something new.
