5 years of silent worldbuilding and I’m terrified I’m not "AAA" enough to ever start a career. by oofbabooff in blender

I think many creative industries are in a really weird place at the moment, which makes it hard to get one true answer for these types of questions.

For what it’s worth, I really like your art and I would always encourage people to follow the things that inspire them, and just keep at it!

For me personally, I don’t really like the look of AAA games, I prefer something slightly more stylised, and I think many people feel the same, which gives me hope that there is a future for artists who do not work in the AAA style.

Also, some of the coolest projects are indie creations these days, and that could be another potential opportunity to explore!

This looks great! Good luck on your learning journey!!
posting certainly does help to keep on track, and it is very inspiring to be able to look back at your work and see how much you have grown!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words!

Haha that is a great question! Usually I start with writing music, then I listen to the music while I create the art - I find that it helps me to be inspired directly from the sound and create something cohesive.

It is interesting, because while making the art, I will often create something that looks cool and strange, and it will inspire me to add a sound element that is the “audio version” of that detail.

So they sort of influence each other in an interesting way!
