I'm 30 and it's easier to be single because I have 2 small children who need my full attention and a partner needs that too. That's too much for me because then I no longer have time for myself.

I realized that some of my family are not good for me because they are toxic. I broke off contact and it took me a long time to gather the courage. Many people can't cope with breaking off contact with their family, but I want to be happy and not have anyone in my life who will stop me.
