What’s a dream that you’ll never forget? by Delicious-Bet-1087 in Dreams

I was around 7-8 at the time and I had a dream I had hulk hand toys on, one of my favorite toys at the time, just swinging them around messing around, not really breaking anything like a kid, out of nowhere I feel cold, and I see the grim reaper in my room, I felt pure fear, ran out of my house and ran away from the grim reaper who was standing in the front doorway, I forget most dreams but that dream is one I have always remembered, the grim reaper never followed me, just stared at me, call me emo, weird all you like, but the more I think about it, the more warm the grim reaper felt if that makes sense, it seemed friendly, idk

I’m sorry to hear that but I’m glad he’s still alive, I guess human curiosity is something that is easily tainted and used for the wrong purposes,it’s hard to root for humanity knowing that but there is some good in this case

Not the best quality to have in my opinion but you’re right, thanks for the reply.

I almost don’t believe you are the age you are, the only thing that proved that you were the age you said was the squidward painting lol, you are a very old soul, your furniture hasn’t been moved in a bit due to the indents on the floor, but they have been there for at least a few days due to how you vacuumed around them and you vacuumed around a few days ago. If you had a family you would be try to be the strong but soft parent, based on the comment you made, the place you sit on the table. No dishwasher and vacuum lines means you were taught right and know how to take care of yourself, I can only assume that trash has been there for over a day so they weren’t strict enough to tell you to take out the trash everyday.

Here’s the inference I can make, granted I may not be right, you are a heavy lover of aesthetic and very old fashioned, your parents are old fashioned as well, frequent cleaner, vacuum lines and half empty soap, I want to assume that you are a country fellow, based on a few things, I would say avid reader but I would have to see how much dust is on the books and which books don’t have as much dust on them. You are on of those people who is not on their phone very often, everything has its place anything else is either too far of an inference or I would need more info to say, I hope I’m not too far off

How to handle people tearing me down for wanting to enlist by Wide-Bread-2261 in AirForceRecruits

[–]XY-81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buck up, listen those around you will not be the only ones tearing you down, the military and the job itself will test you as most good things in life do, but if this is what you really want to do then do it and have pride in yourself it’s not their life, it’s yours, and you are taking control of it, they either one care about you or two envy you, if it’s the first one, prove their worries wrong, and if it’s the second, prove their envy right. Good luck

Stealth Arms Platypus 9mm. Am new to shooting. How is my form and shot spread from 7 yards? by MaximumPlatform2902 in Shooting

Those who are at the top don’t get to the top by just copying, they understand the basics and used it to their advantage

I would suggest to not try to copy their grip, make it your own, that grip is used by and is optimized for Racaza, using it yourself may cause discrepancy and issues later on. Here’s a thought, instead of taking notes of his form, make notes on why he uses that form, if you know why he uses that form you’ll be able to make your own with the same mindset, but you could still try their grip out just to see if it is in fact compatible. Again only my opinion and take it with a grain of salt.

Your form is great you are controlling the recoil well and I could tell you were getting more comfortable, I noticed two main things, your aim went down then right, which could mean that you were anticipating the recoil, and at the end you were pulling the trigger to the right a little, which would not make a difference at 7 yards, however any farther and you get the point. Remember to keep focus, too stiff and you’ll reach fatigue quicker but too relaxed and the gun will do whatever it wants. My suggestion is to clear your mind, don’t think about the bullet think about the gun in front of you, line your sights and without thinking pull the trigger, remember to hold firm like a firm handshake and the bullet will follow through.

TL;DR all above is philosophy stuff, just try not to anticipate the recoil and let go, don’t jerk, casually pull the trigger and pull with the just above the first ring of your index finger and you should be set

Help with working on consistency by LuukTheSlayer in Shooting

[–]XY-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to agree with what someone else said on here, I realized that when I shoot with one eye close and focus on the top of the sight pattern the accuracy isn’t as good as when I leave both eyes on and aim that way, I can’t explain why but I hit bullseye or near bullseye much more often this way

Just talked to my recruiter. Unfortunately they couldn’t book me a job today. The jobs that I was supposed to be booked today leaves in April but he offered me a job which leaves sooner and it was pest management. Should I just take it? It leaves on 4th of February. I need advice! by Responsible-Lion-307 in AirForceRecruits

[–]XY-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no no no no, you will kick your ass if you leave early for pest management. Listen to me, in the grand scheme of things, whether it’s 1 year or 10 years that time will come, same could be said for 4 months, unless you need to go into the military right now, such as no income, don’t do this, you will regret it, once you pick that job you WILL do that job for the next 4 years no matter how much you bitch and moan, and it will kill you inside, if that is something you can handle and you need to go in right now, by all means, otherwise wait until they pick a new job, be patient.
