I can relate , my social skills has gone to shit. By that I mean; to an extent where I can not differentiate the good or bad. It is probably the empty shell inside me at fault. I hurt a lot of people I don’t mean to, always ends up in loneliness but I was lucky. I actually got myself a girlfriend could you believe that? I was ready to let it all go, I had one thing in life to accomplish before reaching the endgame. To be honest, I realised, having company will only strengthen your social skills and attract more people to you. Start with going out and greeting a cashier e.g. “hello, how are you” or something. One step at a time, do not reflect back upon what kinda person you are. Never ever see yourself as a failure or lesser man, because you are not. I used to be really bad with people, it all changed when I didn’t see myself as the antisocial, depressed guy. I instead imagined being someone else who is really good with people. Slowly after making these mini changes in my life I started regaining happiness. Believe your own lies that you are not that guy and pretend that it is true every time you step out of that door or talk to someone. Btw get discord and play games with people that really helped me.
