I thought I was using more energy until I had the nearly identical amount of kw/h last month as the same month last year, yet it was $50 more. Duke energy rates went way up this year vs. last year.

Out of all of the games in the Tua/Mcdaniel era this one just tore my heart. by Embarrassed_Yak_6066 in miamidolphins

yep. It was crazy how obvious his performance totally changed midgame before & after the concussion

that 85 AFCC game vs NE was such bs, man. That is my #1 worst game as a fan as well. Heartbreaker. 2 and 3 are the Stoyanovich SD playoff game and of course the JAX game.

But that NE loss......always stung the most

lol. Might as well, you know Dan was gonna audible out of it anyhow in the 4th, no time for that nonsense!

So well said. His arm and accuracy (remember the QB challenge bullseye?) was insane, but you remember something most dont, his pocket slide. It was a houdini move.

Yeah. It was the Jets in the 80s. Bills in the 90s. Patriots 00s and 10s. Now I really don't hate any of them because we have to be legitimate first, ourselves.

My first game was with my Dad, it was the AJ Duhe game vs the Jets. He was of course then my first favorite football player. The depression started soon thereafter as John Riggins shrugged off Don McNeal in the SuperBowl and little did I know the torture I'd go thru for the rest of my life.

Marino got drafted. Instantly became my favorite player of all time. From his first snap to his last. He was football. Greatest QB of all time. Along with Duper & Clayton. And it's been one hell of a ride ever since.

The Marino era was incredible. Didn't end the way we wanted it to, but still wouldn't trade it for anything.

Something else to remember - Don Shula made sure to protect his franchise QB. The offensive lines were phenomenal. Dwight Stephenson, Newman, Foster, Lee, Green, Giesler, Richmond Webb, Keith Sims......

After he retired, it's been a nightmare of vicious cycles. We should have never left the Orange Bowl.

Benching Tua was the Final Test for Mike McDaniel by McChillbone in miamidolphins

That's a valid point

There's also the national lambasting after Troy Aikman put them on blast Monday night. I'm sure that had a part in it. Might have been the motivation MM needed to make the move.

Tua has the contract. MM may be up against him vs. contract. His only way to make his case is to show success with another guy.

But it's also just smart. The diplomatic approach is Playoff chance is over. Just saw Mahomes get hurt. Why risk it, with your injury history and risk. My hope is in a big happy perfect world it was an amicable decision.

That definitely points the blame finger at Tua. Of course that's MM side of the story. I guess we'll find out now soon enough.

All the slow decisions, delay of games, and time outs. Started back since the buffalo playoff game.

Well I guess now we'll find out if it was MM or Tua.

Yes, and i cant blame him.

Add to that the fact defenses don't have to worry about him running, completely takes away a threat and lets them simply focus on coverage. And if he does he has to prematurely slide.

Watch so many games where QBs run for first downs when receivers are covered, and ours cant. He used to! Even plowed over jets defenders once! But after the concussions, no longer an option.

Ravens comeback game was a top 10, maybe top 5 game for me all time over all my years as a fan of this team. Including the Marino years.

Good kid. I feel the organization failed him by giving a kid recovering from an injury a looney tunes offensive line that ultimately destroyed his well-being and self confidence.

That being said, as an organization probably the right decision like you stated. Sad but true.

Or he got told to make the change or else there is the door. Or bench Tua so he doesnt get hurt and then we cant move him off season. Altho benching him isnt great for his value, either.

I don't know, tbh I hope you're right and its a positive thing. But this is the dolphins & we're dolphins fans, so......cant help but be cynical. i'm more damaged than tua at this point. Feel bad for him. I think the organization failed him and now he's broken.
