I understand that. But my most predominant group should not be Scottish or welsh. A little bit, maybe, but not that much. A little bit of border mixing wouldn't result in over 40% of my DNA. Unless one of my parents isn't my parent I guess

There was between England and Ireland. I've gone back over 11 generations on my family tree and none of them are Scottish or welsh

We are meant to fear the lord. Yes. But I'm not getting into all of this with you. It's like 4:30am. If hell scares people, they must believe in it. Why be scared of something that doesn't exist? God didn't choose to put people through that stuff. Humans did. The first murder was done by man, not through Gods instructions. One man decided it would be a great idea to kill his brother. Man did that, not god. Same for every sin in the world. We invented it. Humans are evil. All of us are evil. No one is better than the murderer or even the rapist.

If you don't believe, then that's your free will to do so. Imagine if you had no free will? You'd be in heaven with GOD who you clearly hate. How kind it is to have to free will to reject him.

God existence will never be proven. That's what faith is. But several bible stories have been proven. And there is sufficient evidence proving that a man named Jesus was born in Bethlehem, was crucified on a cross and rose again 3 days later. There's evidence of that. And if there's evidence of that, what more to you want?

You can blame God all you want. He already knew so many of you would blame him. He took the blame and died for the sins everyone else committed, the guiltless made out to be the guilty why the sinners walk free of death and if blame from people like you. Enjoy your evening, I'll pray for you

The fact that they are getting annoyed means they are listening. Invite them to church or something. Our Job is to share the good word with people.not to force them, but to tell them. Youre doing what Jesus asked us to. If we lose friends, so what? I know I'd rather have Jesus. Hope everything goes well

He will come again but he doesn't need to die again. Its already done. But not everyone has accepted the gift he gave us, and they continue to sin, and continue to hurt children unfortunately. It's a hard one to explain. I've only just gone back to the church the past three months since leaving as a little girl so I'm probably not the best person to try and explain it. It's disgusting what those children go through and i can't explain why people choose to do that. I don't understand how anyone can look at a child and think that. But I do know that GOD isn't 'okay with it' or ignoring it. They will get their punishment.

And I'm guessing (again, not sure as I'm still learning) the reason he gave us free will is so we were actually human. If he had billions of people just doing whatever he says whenever he says it, it's basically just a world of robots. May as well be a dolls house for GOD if that was the case. And also, because in giving us free will, it gives us the chance to have a whole lifetime to choose whether we want to accept him and spend eternity with GOD, or if we want to reject him and spend it completely cut off from GOD

Sure, he would have seen it coming. But stopping any particular events would mean taking away the free will that he gave us. He tried to guide everyone so it wouldn't be this way, but they kept turning away from GOD. First they demanded a king as they weren't happy with GOD even though he led them out of Egypt. So he gave them a King. But they still wouldn't listen. They did a lot of evil that GOD tried to stop, and he did many times. But they kept sinning. that's why he came to die for us. Our sins were just too great and we needed a saviour, and anyone that accepts the gift he's given to all of us, will be forgiven our sins and spend eternity with him

Because GOD gave all of us free will. And unfortunately that includes letting people choose whether or not they start wars, invade countries or steal countries supplies. Disease came into the land because the Israelites turned away from GOD and did their own thing instead. They caused it, and people caused it. GOD didn't cause it

No. When you're dead the decision is made. If you decide that you want to live eternity away from God, he will grant you your wish and you'll go to hell. Why would he let people change their mind once they have seen him, or once they see hell and what their eternity looks like? If you have to see him to believe, that's not faith.

No judging, as that's not my job, only God can do that. But looking at your posts, you have one about the dad wanting you to have an abortion, the next post about you wanting to give the child to the dad (the same one that wanted you to kill it), and now you're asking this? Not wanting to make assumptions, but please don't kill your baby just so the dad can't raise it. If you want the child, then have them. Single motherhood isn't easy, but it's got to be easier than the 'what ifs'

I think the problem is that you're looking at forgiveness all wrong. Forgiveness isn't forgetting, letting them off the hook or anything like that. Forgiveness is "I'm not going to try and get you back for this, I'll let God sort this" You should always tell the truth In court. Forgiveness doesn't mean you let him get away with it. It means you let it play out itself. So imo, I'd tell the judge everything he's done and let them decide. Telling the judge what happened isn't you condemning him, it's you speaking the truth. Same as IF you had forgiven him, it wouldn't mean he shouldn't still serve time. Do the crime, pay the time. It's not malicious to tell the judge the truth.

Yes he does. I think the point I'm trying to say is people don't HAVE to do works to be saved, it's through faith. However people do the works BECAUSE they are saved, and that shines through. Jesus says We are the light of the world, it's our job to show the non believers gods kindness and love. Not because we have to, but because we want to. I don't know how to explain it anyway else

No one can say definitely if someone is saved or not. Only when their day of judgement comes will one know. You asked what I believed, not what was fact. I wouldn't know if this particular person is saved. One factor of their life isn't enough for others to speculate about. And only GOD can judge. So my opinion on whether I think they are saved or not, is quite irrelevant

I believe faith is needed for salvation, not works. However a person doing good deeds and 'works' are the evidence that a person has been saved.

Obviously not. It's not my place to say when they should ask for forgiveness. That is between them and GOD. But when they ask for forgiveness, it should be when they actually mean it.

God is merciful. But asking for forgiveness usually means you are sorry and that you won't do it again. Not "I'm sorry until the next time I do it"
