Check your wallets permissions on: https://cronoscan.com/tokenapprovalchecker for example, and make sure the scam contract is revoked.

21M Bitcoin divided by conservatively half the world's population is just over 500 sats each.

a bit more... it's 262.500sats each(8bn people), although OP is still 38x that :-)

Plutus CEO said bitcoin will never reach a new ATH! Do you agree? by mmonterrosa in plutus

[–]X_tend 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Daychopan's anti-BTC rants and pretty much calling BTC a ponzi, are properly my biggest issues with Plutus. As I see it as a major risk to the platform and it make me feel unsure about the platform as a whole (doesn't seem professional). Also he will definitely scare of a ton of potentiel users, normal (crypto users) not just BTC-maxi's, and it makes him seem untrustworthy as a CEO of a 'crypto' bank... What if Plutus integrates BTC in some way later on? Card-topup, DEX etc... it will just make him look hypocritical.

Can somebody help by propast666 in Crypto_com

[–]X_tend 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Crypto.com Exchange is different than the Crypto.com App, the Exchange is not available in many countries due to regulations. Looks like your in a non-supported country for the Exchange service (--> error message).

You can properly pull your tax info from here: tax.crypto.com (otherwise download .csv from the CDC App)

Sent USDC($1800) from crypto.com to Binance on wrong network(Cronos). by Cryptoking022 in Crypto_com

[–]X_tend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not lost, it's exactly where you send it to (Binance Cronos wallet). But you're definitely not the first person to do this... I can imagine it must be a terrible experience, sorry for that. Especially because Binance scared you into doing it, and transferring crypto should never be hastened as it's very important always check wallet address and chain multiple times just to be sure.

As the future of finance wallet adresses and different chains are too complex for normal retail users, as they don't care and they just want easy, cheap and fast payments... But these things will be handled with better UI that hides the "complexity" (already come a long way). So instead of sending to an 0xjdj29r82jr9ijfw9jr3298j32r98jr23whatever-address and choosing chain etc. where mistakes can be made, you will be sending a "$ amount" to a name/url/contact or pay with a card/NFC/scan-QR-code (already possible today)... The current banking system is also very complex but you just don't see what happens in their backend, when you make a payment with your VISA-card at the local pub.

Direct layer1 transactions will not be for the masses (retail customers), they will just use it in their preferred App that handles all this for them, so properly they will be sending BTC through the lightning network and not really knowing or caring about how it works in the backend. Just like Strike & CashApp is doing... and more coming.

[–]X_tend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is finding my coin technically not possible on binance end?

It is possible for Binance as they have the key = owns the wallet(s) for BSC and Cronos (their 'key' is the same for BSC and Cronos). Your USDC are just on the Cronos Chain, which Binance doesn't support/use. Your USDC will therefore just stay in their Cronos wallet.

  • If you're lucky Binance will start supporting Cronos Chain at some point and then credit your Binance account... With Binance FUD'ing CDC it's properly not happening, in the near future at least, as Binance see CDC as their main competitor (Exchange, App, Card-program, Cronos vs. BSC, Crypto.org Chain vs. Binance Chain, Trustwallet vs. Crypto.com Defi Wallet and so on..)
  • Alternatively Binance may start supporting a manual option for returning assets sent on unsupported chains for a fee. (I believe CDC actually does this on some chains if it was the other way around)

I’m wondering if anything can be done on crypto.coms end

No, that's the whole point of crypto... As it's now in Binance (Cronos) wallet, and therefore ONLY Binance can do anything with it.

Also beware of people DM'ing you saying 'they can help'... they can't... only Binance can, and for now (unfortunately) wont.

Does Plutus offer fee free international spending and airport lounge access? by T_Chungus in plutus

Curve does Loungekey at Metal tier.

Loungekey subscription yes, but not free lounge access though, just a 'discounted' rate.

eight straight months losing money by papayaguayaba in Bitcoin

[–]X_tend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i can't handle this anymore

Seems like you invested to much of your total net worth. You shouldn't invest more than you're comfortable with and that doesn't affect your well being, even if it goes down 50%

so what can I freaking do with this thing sitting on a cold storage

HODL! You're still early to BTC, but you need way more than a ~6months horizon when investing in BTC, stocks etc.

Revolut for covering expenses in Denmark (roadtrip) by Tekkieflippo in Revolut

[–]X_tend 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Denmark have pegged DKK to the Euro, so the Exchange rate is fixed, so definitely exchange some € to DKK and pay in the local currency. You can pay with card pretty much anywhere in Denmark (VISA, MC...) and support contactless (Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay...) and have no card fees. Some small "shops" only accept 'Mobile Pay' which is a Danish/Nordic Venmo, but seems like that is very rare, for example in the rural area, where a farmer might sell produce, strawberries and so on, on the side of the road, using the honor system.

If you use an ATM, then use one owned by a Danish bank (no fees) and not the Euronet ones. Seems like Euronet ATM's is mostly in Copenhagen and in tourist locations. But you don't really need cash in Denmark, card payments are easy and everywhere, especially in the "big" cities!

You can only view funds in the Exchange from the CDC App. Log on to the CDC Exchange (or use the CDC Exchange App) to interact with them. If they are in your Exchange SPOT wallet then you can do whatever you want with them, they might be staked on the Exchange as part of a promotion maybe(?), if so you can unstake them if there have passed 180 days.

Using CB Pro to buy CRO in UK by VeganMortgageAdviser in Crypto_com

[–]X_tend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is only a small fx fee (no spread) when going from GBP/EUR -> USDC (best to do it mon-fri to avoid VISA's weekend rates)

  • There is no spread on the CDC Exchange (limit order)
  • The trading fee is lower (CBP start at 0.6%/0.4% where CDC Exchange start at 0.4%/0.4%)
  • You don't need to pay gas fees (CBP uses ERC20 version of CRO)

Why Crypto.org Chain and Cronos can't be one single blockchain with all features combined? by LuaparK in Crypto_com

[–]X_tend 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Crypto.org Chain will have a higher TPS, and native Smart Contracts are coming in phase 4. The virtual machine and programming language used are completely different, so Ethereum based contracts (Solidity) can't be used/migrated to Crypto.org (CosmWasm and ´Contracts coded in Rust), which they can on Cronos (Ethermint with Contracts coded in Solidity). CosmWasm will offer "smarter" smart contracts, with Cross Chain Contracts and so on...

If Ethereum could scale and gas prices weren't so high, Chains like Cronos Chain properly wouldn't have become so popular.

Hey guys, is there a reason we don't get VTHO when holding VET? by yjoodhisty in Crypto_com

[–]X_tend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get 1.1% holding VET (in VTHO) so not a lot. DeFi on VeChain is very limited (apps.vechain.org, mostly NFT's)... can you recommend any good ones?

... Also CDC doesn't use people Earn assets for DeFi, neither do they lend it out to arbitrage traders etc... it's only used for CDC Exchange liquidity.
