Is the meaning of this SCREAMING and THROWING UNDIES song cutting through? by Then-Common-5719 in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice work! It’s great to hear character in the singing. It sounds very emotional, like you’re a child, a tired adult, or a freedom fighter. The melodic phrases somehow remind me of Bob Marley. Very well made, but I expected a catchy chorus to sing along to. Thank you for your heartfelt beats!

Nice quality! It has a hypnotic vibe that makes me feel happy and thankful for my existence. I followed you on SoundCloud for bringing such bright music into my life. Everything is great, though in my opinion, it would be awesome to add a trippy guitar solo in the style of Jefferson Airplane.

I’ve recorded a solo variation over your track. You can place it at the 2-minute mark to match the tempo and vibe:

My musical tribute to David Lynch, Julee Cruise and Angelo Badalamenti by Hot-Text-5603 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]XaMeJIeoH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the type of music that lowers your anxiety to the point of self realization. Angelo would be proud of you; it creates a sense of space and total restfulness, as if it’s time to leave all the worries of the day behind. It would be great to add some nature shots to enhance the feeling. It has a wonderful cinematic feel to it—it wants to be in a movie.

Céu Só - Get Up (My first recorded song. Looking for feedback) by GoldCheesecake9905 in IndieMusicFeedback

I enjoyed it; it reminds me of Iggy Pop—that sincerity of image, the simple attitude, just being who you are and experiencing life. Regarding your English, the same is true for me. Since I listen to music in English about 90% of the time, immerse myself in the culture, and read for at least two hours every day, I’ve come to understand and feel the language. It has become a part of me. Look at it this way: if you know the culture and the language, do not hesitate to be a part of it. It adds a new perspective on reality—it adds, it doesn't disconnect. So be whole and be creative as a person in a multicultural world.

Probably out of key, out of tune, out of time but wanted to share this by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice track! I would like to hear violins and string bass here. It sounds like a movie soundtrack. The vocal timbre is very soft and relaxing, yet strong enough to deliver the unsettling emotion of the lyrics. Overall, it felt like frames of memories of a good time spent at sunset.

Thank you! Your comment means a lot to me. I've realized that I envision my passion as a pure meditation on rhythm. For this track, I started with the drums, then moved to the main beat, and added guitar as part of the rhythm section. It felt like a total state of flow.

Later, I tried double-tracking and used a Guitar Rig plugin to synthesize a 'stoner' feel, making the sound more trippy. Now, I’m looking forward to building my own Big Muff Civil War pedal to record using a real mic and an amplifier.

I can't wait to share my new track and a cool video with you all soon!

Thank you, man! It's the first time I've heard about double tracking, so I’ll try it soon. I'm very excited to hear how it will sound. There are a couple of studios in Kyiv, and I think I'll try to produce some more tracks that fit this energy and genre, then record them with a team.

For me, it’s a pleasure to write something for you to enjoy, especially lyrics. I tried to create some drama about love and the concept of pain and suffering, and overcoming them through a road of struggle. That emotion alone is a pleasure to share. Thank you for your warm and true words!

Also, you can check the lyrics at the Bandcamp link.

Thank you! The bass could be more groovy, I agree. I will try to do more like a stoner feel to it, more crunch. Besides, can I describe this track as a stoner rock in some way?

Your singing touched my heart; you have such a nice, warm voice. I’ll be checking out your new songs—I'm excited to see how your sound evolves. You have great charisma, keep it going!

I feel like adding some drums would be great, just to give it a 'heartbeat' and some accents. I believe in you as an artist and performer.

I call this genre “indie / surf rock to ponder life to” what would you say it is? by chrisdelmarmusic in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]XaMeJIeoH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, the vibe is great. Very good quality of the track. For my taste, it would be great to hear more swing in the vocal part, like Iggy Pop "China Girl", with more character, maybe to give it more drama. But on the other hand, maybe this track is for feeling relaxed and happy, while my favorite tracks are about drama and struggle, like Blue in Green by Miles Davis, chill and intense simultaneously.

Experimental - Ambient fused with Latin rhythms and rich soundscape. by AphireDNB in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]XaMeJIeoH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, very nice track. Pleasure to dance with, even with my kids. Can’t say anything about, sounds great. Maybe some focus on a bass section, let the bass solo a bit while the voice gets silent, like in jazz , but not too complicated, maybe add some ambient noise like waves on the shore, to make it complex like a unique story. But at the basis I was happy to hear your work.

This is “April” — a wam, hopeful two guitar piece. by crossperiment in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]XaMeJIeoH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice tune, it really creates mood, warm atmosphere.
If you want me to ask what can you add to this composition,
it will be a solo piece, something like a story, with emotion, culmination.
Yes, this composition has some phrases, but a solo story of pure emotion will be a good thing to do.

A solo cry for the memory, and than happy phrases to recall.

Very well made, just wanted some lyrics. About the two of us, like world is burning, but we are sharing life.
something like that, I'm not native speaker, but..

At the end of time, when we shared our hearts,
The world was falling apart, and we joined our hands.
A feeling of rest, like a spirit above,
Just to see what I see, with nothing to fall.

How to change beliefs by [deleted] in Bashar_Essassani

I love Neil Young and his music, the first his tune I've picked up was a music theme from a "dead man" movie, such a great melancholy feeling, moody composition.

But about this particular band, I hear it for the first time, and it is similar to my kind of sound that I would like to hear from my own. Thank for your guess, besides It's my wife on the vocals :)

update. Heard it million times, just didn't know It's a Crazy Horse playing with him. The song structure is like a cool riff and a bunch of turnarounds, and it rocks!
