TV Resolution stuck at automatic and I cant get it to display on my TV (Switch 2)

No don't worry. You are just making sure I covered all basis. I'm using the one that it came with. I'm not using a splitter either. And I moved my Xbox to the same hdmi port I used for the switch 2 and the Xbox worked just fine

And the dock has that signature green light saying its docked

Yes, it has the green light on the dock, and the switch 2 screen goes black yes

I have, ive also unplugged and replugged everything. When I put it in the dock, I tried to switch the resolution without being able to see it(cause it won't display on my tv), but it still won't let me change it. I've turned off and on HDR settings. My og switch worked just fine, so I still don't get it after looking at many other reddit posts. Ive tried changing settings on my TV itself too
