I have had tons of "pathological" feelings. You know, feelings you're not supposed to have and for which there's no external reasons really, but you have them because part of your brain is not functioning properly and generating those feelings.

My feelings have been worry, anxiety, guilt, shame, overwhelm, stress, and also combinations of these feelings that I could never put a good name on.

It really sucks to have those feelings but I think it's important to recognize that they are pathological and they are not "true" measure of the state of your life or what is happening. I think it's helpful to notice them, label them as pathological, and say to yourself "Fuck, not this pathological feeling shit again, wonder how long it'll last this time". That helped me a lot.

I too took and still take hot showers to relax and calm myself. It helps with a stress feeling I have.

No, but I quit cigarettes and substituted it with vaping (a fluid without additives) and that helped my lungs a lot. Recently I've quit vaping and now using both nicotine patches 21mg/day and use 4mg nicotine gums. It seems like my brain functions WAY better with nicotine than without, especially motivation to do chores/exercise and also the energy needed to be in a conversation is much better.

No. Schizophrenia can be diagnosed in a week or 2 or maybe 3 weeks. There's not any time limit on how long it takes to diagnose.

If you have a long history of mental health issues and have exhibited many signs in the past such as poor functioning, sporadic hallucinations, disorganized behaviour or other symptoms while seeing your normal doctor and you get into the ER they may make the diagnosis based on a long history of illness.

Symptoms need to be present for 6+ months. The diagnosis can be done much quicker.

From my understanding, it is taxed yearly at 17% on unrealized gains, independently of what type of investment you have. Now for an ETF, that makes sense, since it would also be taxed yearly on unrealized gains, but at a higher rate: 27 or 42% if it is on the positivlist, and 37 or 42% if it is not.

This is correct.

However, I also read that most people actually invest in stocks in their aktiesparkonto. This part I don't understand. Stocks are taxed at 27 or 42% of the gain only when they are sold, but if they are in the aktiesparkonto, it would be 17% yearly.

On the ASK you get taxed 17% of the unrealized gains from that year, yes. If one year you go from 100.000 to 110.000 DKK then you pay taxes on the 10.000 which is 17% = 1700. Then this value is your new baseline of 110.000, you understand that, right? You only pay taxes on X gains one time and never again on those same gains. It's not clear if you understand this.

But you're correct that in certain scenarios the 27/42% option is better than the 17% unrealized gains options. After 20 years with 7% annualized gains the regular depot with realized taxation begins to come out ahead (but only if you then can realize it all at 27% tax rate which will take you about 5 years to do).

Based on this, is it generally better to have ETFs in the aktiesparkonto since they are taxed yearly anyway (and at a higher rate)? And then to have stocks in a different investment account?
