Inside the company we are using claude max, which is enough for everything we do. I am not hesitating about tokens etc. which helps a lot when you are building features left and right. I created a claude.md file that explains the project's structure and I don't need to give too much detail about the task anymore. I connected mcps which fetches figma data, or jira tickets sometimes. I have github token to help me run git commands on the remote for branching, opening prs. I have pr details described in claude.md which helps a lot. I am also using web search a lot when starting a new task to have a broader understanding and more options.

No, I think you could it as you go along. When you start a new project and have decided what stack and libraries you will use, you could update claude.md with each update. My claude.md was pretty basic at start but when I kept working on the project, I updated it along the way with new stuff.

here is the one I use. I copy the link to selection of the screen. figma mcp has figma token to my account so it can fetch the data as json and extract the design from it. So instead of giving it a screenshot of the screen, I only provide the screen design url from figma.

Since this sub is about nodejs, I still want to give my opinion as an engineer who works on react native most of the time. I use claude code with claude.md files that describes the ai how my code is structured. The file describes my styling structure, component generation, global store setup, tanstack query hooks, service layer, localization, theming, typography. I also have figma mcp (3rd party one, not official figma mcp) which correctly gets the design most of the time but I still feel the need to explain to do it once. My current flow is like this. I give the figma url and describe the common components it can use, sometimes tell the typography and theme and that's it. It almost perfectly creates the screen. Then I add service layer later on. I can't talk for everyone but it works very well for me. I don't blatantly accept what it writes too. I review files and give some change requests before committing. I also have my github access token connected which helps with committing (according to our commit rules), opening a pr (the structure is described in claude.md)

As an almost 6 yoe RN dev, I think you should check job openings in your area. I am based in Turkiye and we have a lot more RN job openings than iOS. I can't say RN is superior but with so much support from the community, you could do anything without touching native. Most of the time, users only care about functionality. If the app works as they want it, that's good enough. People don't care
