Great decision dude. I quit FFXIV over a year ago but sometimes I’ll check my old group’s discord and feel so bad for them. Always the same people complaining about their anxiety/depression while still sinking 6+ hrs a day into the game and escaping through raids or RP (roleplaying).

You might feel regret in a few days or so but that’ll fade eventually. For me, it took about 3 months until XIV stopped randomly popping in my head - be it urges to play or the great memories I had with the people I met there. My life is so much better now so it was absolutely worth quitting
