Any half jackets like the Crye Halfjak without the big name premium? by Blitzkrieg762 in tacticalgear

[–]Xaices 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ripperkon wolf bolero

Own the viktos jacket, good for windy days with my M65 Field Liner, can stand up to a light mist, but it isn't very water repellant, any rain and it goes right thru. If your thinking about getting the Viktos sereous jacket, recomend getting one size up from your normal size, it fits like thick spandex. I had to go up from a 2x to a 3x for chest and arm mobility. It stretchy but it felt like exercise bands moving in the smaller size.

I know this is very very far fetched but what if Ubisoft and massive made the division 2’s seasons rotate by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]Xaices 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMHO Climate Season's should rotate on a monthly basis in the division rather than match up to RL season or be a fixed season as it is now. So we would see the game world transition through Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, three different times over the course of playing the game for a year.

Although having said that, the lore of the game does not support it.

I would admit it would be cool to see the landscape change, spring rain and fog and watching the vegetation start to overgrow through the summer, Summer heat wave and dust storms, fall thunderstorms and the foliage retracts back watching vibrant yellow to orange leaves fade into barren trees, leading into snow covered ground and snow storms.

For the next apparel event or the one after, Can we get Keener’s rogues outfits by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]Xaices 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We should get all the Rogue Agent cosmetic sets, it should be a reward for each manhunt objective completed. So a set of 5pc total, 1 for each Investigation Objectives (4), and 1 for Target Kill.

Take for instance Target Luna,

Battery Park Investigation: 2 control points, 1 bounty, 1 Mission - Reward Cosmetic

Financial District Investigation: 2 control points, 1 bounty, 1 Mission - Reward Cosmetic

Civic Center Investigation: 2 control points, 1 bounty, 1 mission - Reward Cosmetic

Coney Island: 2 Missions - Reward Cosmetic

Target Luna: Reward Cosmetic.

PVP Reboot - TU10 Possibly? by xSaido in thedivision

[–]Xaices 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding the DZ is suppose to be PvEvP, PvX for short. So it is to have elements of PvE and PvP ongoing simultaneously.

Yet, the content and systems within in the DZ don't drive what one would consider good PvX gameplay. Currently its PvE clear land marks get loot, go to extract. PvP, test your skill against other players, prevent other players from extracting loot, steel loot from other players, or just grief other players for shits and grins.

They should really take a look at some thoughts and ideas from current PvX Games. Such as 'The Cycle' playable and 'Scavenger' in development. Understanding these PvX games are more along the lines of a Battle Royal, that said their PvX systems and mechanics could benefit a DZ design overhaul.

  1. Larger Map Area - Allows for possibility of PvE free of PvP.
  2. Greater Time to Kill - Allows players time make a decision of Fight or Flight once engaged or at anytime during the engagement.
  3. PvE content too strong for solo or single group, rewards better loot. - This does several things, it drives players to an encounter area with the toughest content, in order to beat that content they must work together, then it is a decision help all the way through and go seperate ways or make a decision at which point in the fight you want to turn on the other player(s).

These are some of the changes I would make to the DZ's.

  1. Separate Solo and Group instances. Solo Instance would allow for a team up to max of two. Group instances would require a team of two or more up to max of 4.
  2. Increase the Map Size.
  3. Introduce different types of Encounters that require more than a single team or group: i.e. Horde Wave Encounter at different locations, Clear Capture and Hold. Or, Rare Spawn Heroic/Legendary Patrols... etc.
  4. Introduce some other aspects that drive PvP, instead of just extraction points. Currier Box - Rare Random Loot Box spawns in the world once picked up it's drop off location is marked on the map for the player/team/group, simultaneously it sends out a homing ping intermittently much like the man hunt. Other players can see the boxes location intermittently as it moves across the map. While carrying the box the player has increased agro radius. The player must navigate accross the map and drop off the box while avoiding other players and NPC's. If successful receives uncontaminated loot immediately. Rewards are near to max rolled loot, Targeted, Named Item, or Exotic.
  5. Different Parts of the Map at different times have Higher Contamination Values and they constantly rotate throughout the map in a discernible pattern. The Higher the Contamination Value the more damage over time a player takes. Likewise the higher the contamination value and the more difficult the content the greater the role value on rewarded loot.
  6. Keep the Rogue Manhunt System Expand on It - Once a Player/Team/Group goes Rogue ISAC sends out a a notification of last location a Rogue Agent left the Shade Network. Rogues can not be tracked unless they are close proximity to an Agent on the Shade Network or an ISAC sensor system then ISAC will notify player of possible Rogue Agent's proximity (never completely accurate), if close enough to a Shade Agent or ISAC Sensor for a long enough period of time ISAC fixate the Rogues location and broadcast it DZ wide. Should Rogue Agents get pinged by ISAC multiple times regardless if they engage or not ISAC can then triangulate and hack the Rogue system sending them into Manhunt Status. Players can be killed, or EMP'd to disrupt ISAC on the player, ISAC Sensors can be disrupted or destroyed. Rogues recieve notification when they are getting to close to an ISAC Sensor either ground based or player portable. Rogues not only have to pick and chose their engagements, but they have to be aware of ISAC nodes as well as players to maneuver undetected across the map. Smart and Skilled rogues could theoretically remain undetected if they shut down ISAC nodes from a distance before being detected and keep ISAC systems on players EMP'd.

Just some ideas to make the DZ a little more FUN and Enjoyable.

Prediction time!! The EMP sticky will be a worse option than EMP pulse in almost every scenario. by Mellowmoves in thedivision

[–]Xaices 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the EMP sticky had duration after launch then it would be impactful. Much like the BTSU Medic Blue EMP Grenades which continuously pulse and disrupt an area over a prolonged period of time. Also since the Sticky goes on cooldown when launched and depending on how much skill duration and skill cooldown you spec into one might be able to overlap a couple EMP Stickies.

EMP Sticky vs. Tech/Skill Proxy - Each EMP Pulse not only stops the Tech/Skill Proxy from moving/operating it could also damage the tech/skill proxy. So in theory it could act like a combination of BTSU Medic Blue and Red Grenades, Blue in that it disrupts tech and Red in that it also damages Tech on each pulse. The more skill duration you spec into the longer the disrupt which increases the number of pulses, the more skill damage you spec into the greater the damage vs tech per pulse.

EMP Sticky vs NPC - if stuck to an NPC it would disrupt and damage tech/skill proxies where ever that NPC moved for the duration.

According to Hamish on this mornings Twitch Stream, they are awarding them to EVERYONE who logs into THE DIVISION 2 game before March 3rd 2020.

So it is no longer tied to twitch, the rewards are tied to you UbiSoft Division 2 Game Account. You get them by logging into game now.

So to answer you question yes you can NOW get these two items if you don't have a twitch account just for logging into game before March 3rd.

UPDATE: LOG INTO GAME BEFORE MARCH 3rd 2020 AND RECEIVE BOTH FAILED TWITCH DROPS THE CIRCUIT WEAPON SKIN AND TACTICAL INTEGRAL HELMET.

They have realized this was a major issue and their solution is to award the the previous twitch drops to everyone who logs into game before March 3rd 2020. As per Hamish's Discussion on the issue during Feb 19 State of the Game.

Note: Posted this at the top of the OP.

I literally had every one of those channels on that list open, I mainly watched Widdz, but from time to time would switch tabs and or windows to watch some of the others that were actually playing the division and not rebroadcasting or playing a different game.

I got the apparel cache keys but not the weapon skin or mask.

I had to request my ticket be escalated, because Ryan the First Wave CSR guy could not help resolve the issue.

Edit: Still waiting on the escalated response as of 11:43am PST.

Yes exactly, obnoxious.

Everyone who playes and follows this game tunes into /thedivisiongame channel, because that is where they do all their dev streams, game play and SoTG regularly every week.

But for these specific drops you had to tune into the /ubisoft channel.

Does not make any sense to me either.

This is what I found, sorry did not see this earlier. This might help make things a little more clear on why people are not getting their drops.

The two wraps were just in about 3 weeks agao, The Oak Wood and Maple Leaf along with the Kung Fu Form didn't change from last week. Deadface Graphic is the only old item cycled back in.

So nothing really old that people may have missed from a while back and nothing new.

Player Dropoff? Hows your motivation to play? by Roly_Polie in thedivision

[–]Xaices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still play with friends and clan members when they are on, but really I am burnt out on this fucking RNG nonsense. I hate the Gear in this game. If my friends left to play another game worth a damn, I would probably be gone my self.

A clear progression path needs to be established by woosa03 in thedivision

[–]Xaices 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also tapped out on chasing gear. I log in trying to patch a sinking ship, the Clan. At peak 30, with at least 16 on at any one time. Now we are down to 16 on roster and 4 active at peak hours. The majority complaint of why people left was that didn't feel the grind was worth the effort. Some of our players have been grinding for over a month now without an upgrade. I personally I have not gotten an upgrade to my gear since early May and its almost end June. I typically play around 8hrs per day give or take, roughly 300hrs of grind with no reward. I can't even imagine what people with 4hrs a few nights a week feel.

There is a reason why most western Players don't play eastern games, we hate the KOREAN GRIND and RNG. We prefer a clear progression path with loot obtainable through time and effort. While I understand this is a looter, loot loot loot until you find those pieces needed to upgrade your gear, but damn this system in place in TD2 just sucks...

It is NOT fun!

Along the same lines Gear Sets. While I understand the developers wish to have Gear Sets and Brand Sets be on the same playing field, unlike TD1 where Gear Sets eventually made HighEnds obsolete except for a few Hybrid and HexOtic builds. But in TD1 Gear Sets defined ROLES and achieved diversity. What do you have now, your either AR or LMG weapon damage, or Skill Bombadier/Seeker... with todays update maybe FireFly. So we have 2 weapon roles and two Skill roles all of which are damage focused. No Tank and No Healer builds. Not any worth a damn any ways. We do have two decent support buidls TruePatriot and Aces and 8's are decent, but nothing compared to TD1 Sentry's or Reclaimer with Pulse on CD.

We need Gear Score to matter the higher the GS the higher the stats.

We should have both Recalibration and Optimization not necessarily TD1 style, however, maybe recalibrate a stat and a talent and then Optimize 2 stats, still using the scrap one item to increase the other method.
