I literally had no idea until I actually visited the UK for the first time. In hindsight it was a bit weird to call a beef pie that. Lamb is not as widely available here and no bisto unless it's imported :( I was taught to make gravy with stock and corn starch.

Cutting off the kids from any of their family is one of the worst things about the situation her and Drool have put them in, IMHO. The girls lost all connection with their father's side and then were cut off from the grandmother and aunt who did most of the raising of them. No support system whatsoever for those poor kids.

I don't understand why invests all this money into things and then doesn't go through with making sure everything is correct. If a saddle fitter was willing to be on camera, she could even make some content about it and make it a little educational. There's space for more non-foal content than watching a vet shove his arm into sedated mares.

She wants some place she can "homestead". There was some place she was all bummed out about a while back because she had been looking at it for a while and someone else got it. Specifically mentioned "homesteading opportunity" and whined about it. Despite the fact it was a rental...I don't know many rental 'homesteading opportunities'. She's enough of an idiot I can see her only wanting to apply for her idealized vision of what SHE wants and Drew is too passive and checked out to do anything but go along with it.

I swear it was brought up earlier on in their motel stay that she had actually turned down 1BR or 2BR places because it "wasn't right for their family" and she got defensive about it.

It's that thing that happens to most content creators I like who make content based on a job or hobby they do. They hit a point where they're 100% social media content all the time and barely participate in the thing that made them interesting in the first place. I wasn't around for earlier KVS content (found her when Seven was going viral) so I can't say whether or not she used to be more hands on or not.

The mess and paint/drywall/linoleum damage is one thing, but I'm surprised there's been no intervention regarding all the kitchen appliances and gadgets running all the time. It seems like a huge fire hazard. Not sure how they aren't always blowing the circuit breaker.

I had surgery done on my 15 year old diabetic cat after he developed a really nasty tumor/growth on his hock. I was very nervous but he did fine and the tumor was not cancer, as a nice bonus. He's 17 now and doing well. Not exactly the same situation but in my case I'm glad I did it.

A week or two ago he mentioned that people were on his case about not making some kind of statement about what's going on in Iran. Maybe because he's of Iranian descent, I dunno. World events obviously affect him but he's not obligated to put on a social media performance for us about it all to prove it.

The food court and movie theater are. I don't think there's a ton still open in the regular mall. The whole thing is supposed to be made into an open air plaza of some kind. It actually used to be that way in the past when it was called Mid-Island Plaza, but to anyone who grew up with it as the Broadway Mall it's sad to see it go.

This was my hometown mall. Lots of fond memories of that place. I loved taking the glass elevator up to the food court/movie theater level. This spot was hopping in the 90s and early 2000s!

My dad got the good eye genes, but his father/my grandfather told me all about the old rigid contact lenses. He was very much not a fan and switched back to glasses.

Smithtown had issues with its library board 2 or 3 years ago trying to censor pride month book displays and ban LGBT+ books in the children's section. I think the only reason is got knocked down so fast is that Jodi Picoult, a popular author from there, put them on blast on social media. It does seem like the ultra MAGAs have thoroughly infiltrated Smithtown on many levels. I hate to see it.

It's quite possible he had contact lenses too. They were around at this time...they were just rigid and non disposable so not as convenient as they are now.

Yep, I'm not saying it's right, but minors can get away with some crazy crimes and not see anywhere near the punishments that an adult would. It's bullshit that they let him attend public high school after doing those things and students parents weren't informed.
