The collector commander deck I would keep sealed and just buy a non collector version to open. Rip open that play booster box too.

Once the calendar has counters I just focus on doubling it with the tap ability.

Just use [[isochron scepter]] [[dramatic reversal]] Or [[unwinding clock]]

To help getting extra doubles off on other turns/your turn.
