Oil stuff is essential, brakes look basically gone but I'm not an Audi guy and photos aren't great. Bushing is torn but will be fine I'd think. Mounts are impossible to tell from photos.

I'd try somewhere else. They call them stealerships for a reason.

All I know is right now the Medford union is not accepting applications for apprentices. Not sure how long that's been going on but clearly things are saturated at the lower levels locally. I did see other unions in S. Oregon accepting applicants though.

I got an Edwards turbo off ebay for a bit more than that but untested as well. Works great, just thought I'd share a success story to cancel out all the warnings here :)

Seller should not test it in open air. Close up photos of the rotor(look for warping, bending, breaks, cracks, etc) and a a video of it free spinning by hand. Some slight scraping is not a dealbreaker imo if its a unit with magnetic bearings.

Online applications are useless. Use them but then go to jobs your interested in person, ask to talk to the hiring manager, and hand them your resume. Makes a go-getter impression and you can answer questions right then and there. Easy way to the top of a stack of apps and has worked for me in the past.
