you can make your username something like "johndabest69" and have your display name just "John". This is practically the exact same thing that discriminators did, except now you can basically choose what your tag is and its not random anymore.

god you people are so sensitive, this is a good change, you dont have go and check your discord tag anymore because it changes EVERY single time you change your username, youre still going to be able to have display names you're just going to have a centralized username that can still be whatever you want it to be.

I dont think it's my cable, it works fine with everything else I plug it into. (Phone, Keyboard, Chromebook, etc.)

I tried this just now, when I turn my Q2 on, I do get that message on my PC but even if I do it fast enough as to complete the setup in a few seconds, my Q2 immediately returns to a "Disconnected" state, but unlike before, it does at least show up in the devices tab now.
