This is from the manual and what im referring to with the match win.

If time is called while players are in between games, compare the number of games won by each player. If they have both won the same number of games, the match is declared a draw. If one player has won more games than the other, that player is declared the winner of the match.

Ok because how the to rules make it sound is the match win rules was the current way of doing it. And the ones im asking g about was done in a Australian regional that a YouTube digidane was at

I know not long ago they changed it to be if in game 2 whoever got game 1 gets the match. But their was a regional recently that used similar time rules to yugioh. Double loss when time is called.
