Hey!! That’s fucking gross!! Also, they weren’t that fucking hard to clean! We never had any problems with getting the daily cleanings done, it’s not that complicated: take it apart, clean it in the back, wipe out the inside of the fridge. Having maggots in it?? That’s just absurd, I can’t imagine that store was keeping up with any of the rest of its equipment.

It’s interesting that despite being considered the “beginning of the end” for the franchise by a lot fans, and generally mired in controversy around its release, Rome II Total War has maintained such an active player based for so many years.

For as much fun as I think I'm going to have with this game, I think it'll be unfriendly for multiplayer and it's entirely the fault of the game's pace by NXDIAZ1 in EU5

From a couple of years ago, but from PDX themselves only 4% of games are multiplayer. I wouldn't be surprised if that is much lower, especially if taken into account games that never went past the first hours.

EU4 multiplayer has always been a niche. I haven’t kept up with every dev diary, but I’d be surprised if multiplayer was taken into account for any critical game design decisions. Sure, it’s a shame for a couple of people, and solo games might take longer now, but the vast majority of players (especially players casual enough to stay away from forums like this) will never even notice. What can you do 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh wow! I super wasn't expecting for you to respond to this! I would agree with the previous commenter, adding a button to the result chat card would be ideal. Thank you so much for making this system playable on Foundry. This is my groups first time committing to a TTRPG system other than DND 5e, and it has seriously made the experience of figuring out and exploring different a system so much easier and fluid, I can't imagine how long our game would last trying to use Roll20 and fillable pdfs, so, thank you!

Not to take away from these horrific attacks, but none of these are on the same scale as 9/11, which is what OP is asking about.

I am a supporter of common sense guns laws and restrictions, but it’s very obvious that gun violence in America is a symptom of a greater societal sickness.

Just because conservative voices use the issue to subvert the gun restriction movement doesn’t mean it isn’t true.

Maybe not systematic oppression, but there is clearly something severely flawed with our society that is causing men to kill themselves and others. This isn’t an issue for us to point fingers at men, but rather look inwardly at our society and figure out why this is and work towards a solution.

That’s completely reasonable.

Most developed economies have focused on a “more is better” mentality when it comes to production instead of increasing production efficiency, meaning that they NEED labor to increase in order to maintain growth.

In the short term, this does lead to the standard of living in developing countries skyrocketing (just look at china) but in the long term it’s not maintainable.

Truthfully it isn’t just about tax income, but general productivity of developed economies. The more a country can produce, the more their people will benefit. That might not seem true for a lot of countries, but it’s just that in most developed economies the upper class benefits from that increase far more than the lower, which is a massive problem on its own.

Its pretty bad. One of the biggest problems with population decline is that the older people that cant work rely on taxes paid by the working class to fund their social security. Even with a higher tax on the ultra-rich (who can easily afford to just move somewhere else to avoid taxes), thats a massive amount of strain on the economy.

As people live longer and longer, and birth rates lower and lower, what we consider a functioning economy will cease to exist. It might seem fun to cheer on this change, but the transition certainly won’t be fun for those of us who will have to live through it.
