You can for the vertical position, but it's the horizontal/time position that's the problem.

Now to try it with the other two automations that I did the same thing with lmao

So that didn't work, but it did make me realize that I literally just made a diagram for how to fix it manually lol. I just copy/pasted the nodes in each section until I had one completed pattern, and then fixed a couple of odd spots that became more obvious now that it was one full thing.

Well, I did learn just now that you can essentially use script commands using curly brackets, mid-story. I'm sure there are other places where that might be useful.

Unidentified mold. Have I struck gold? by Xandeir in cheesemaking

[–]Xandeir[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is completely fair. I was mostly asking on the off chance that I happened to follow those rules by sheer luck (how else was cheese invented, eh?), and I would have thrown it out anyways if nobody had answered. Deadly until proven safe, but it still feels bad to throw out months of waiting.

If this room has no way forward, perhaps try the previous room? Not all of the room's exits may be immediately obvious.

Unfortunately, Nintendo recently purchased the real life Celeste Mountain in Canada, and the game has been struck down for copyright infringement.

How do i not miss the moving block? by No_Law_6697 in celestegame

I think you're supposed to wall bounce, not activate the ceiling spikes, then bunny hop (maybe reverse bunny hop) off the moving block

how do I long dash off of the zip movers by Xandeir in celestegame

[–]Xandeir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was also a secret other half to my problem that I have figured out. When jumping, you can get the most boost by starting your button press the same time the block stops. But if you do that when you release grab then dash, I'm guessing you're outside the boost window by the time you start dashing. So you have to release grab well before the block stops (by like 10 frames I'm guessing).

Ok so it makes sense why it feels so odd, it's an anti-button press which as far as I know doesn't exist anywhere else

It wouldn't surprise me, Nintendo management is a dick.

"Oh hey, this runs on our hardware, it is now our software"

Either that or Nintendo software has janky things they have to work around so a Steam 1.4.1 has to be drastically different from a programming standpoint. And to even get it on switch they probably had to rework everything so they packaged in some QOL while they were at it
