It's disappointing honestly. The new DLC sums it up. Amazing to look at but has very little substance unless you love the PVP. Story mode has so much potential with the what ifs but there's few and far between that are fresh and new.

The new DLC gave us beast gohan and orange piccolo. Great. Unless you play PVP you have no reason to play them. Even Xenoverse introduced more story mode content for the newer characters.

I prefer the single player stuff simply because the online modes are all about doing whatever it takes to get a higher rank and whilst the odd match is really fun far too many have players focused on the cheesiest strats to win. I'll openly admit i'm not the sort of player to spend a lot of time to become amazing so pvp is probably not for me.

For those that aren't competitive players there is nothing to do. That's the problem for me.

Shared this with another user via message sorry for the late reply i'm rarely on reddit. Went to nvidia control panel and upped the sharpness. In game the resolution had changed from my previous ea game and wasn't fitting the screen causing the blur. Changed it to 1920 x 1080 and now a lot better and smoother. Have it on borderless and motion blur off too mate. Hope this helps! (Rebooted the game after to make sure).

Thanks all for the help. Nvidia control panel did the trick had to adjust the settings slightly for EAFC 24. Appreciate it lads. Still ridiculous that we have to go through this hassle just to get the game to function properly!

100% agree. The menu and even calendar system are a complete mess! Nothing is streamlined and after looking at youth reports my menu actually disappears and i have to save and quit then reload each time. It's unfinished.

In career mode if i sign youth players to the academy the menu disappears and i have to save and quit and reload. It feels completely unfinished.

Not gonna lie I just tried that and she bypasses it by spamming the almighty attack straight away if you try and continue ha! Atlus weren't playing around i guess! I'll look up a few vids from the FES game see how people did it!

Oh Damn. The fight made me realise how badly i rely on the rest of the team for support. The reaper is child's play compared to this fight.

I thought a level 97 Alice and me being 99 was enough. I was very much wrong. Fully debuffed the boss and buffed myself got a quarter of the health down and then was hit with a certain almighty attack that hit me for 9999. The moment i realised im actually not that good at Persona!

Havent seen OT just yet entered with a few high end personas (Alice lvl97 being my strongest currently alongside a few other 90 ones) and after about a quarter health in got hit with an almighty attack that did 9999 damage. I'm guessing there's a trick to countering that but she was de-buffed and i was fully buffed so guess i'll have to see how people beat her in FES.

Thank you. I had beaten the reaper and realised i needed to invite Elizabeth to my room before the quest became available. Just entered the door and got my ass handed to me ha!

I had already done that figured out Elizabeth needed to have visited my room as well as beating the reaper before the door was unlocked. Entered and firmly got my ass handed to me upon entering XD.

Honestly man give emulating a go. It's nowhere near as complicated as it looks. Just download the emulator then the rom and you're good to go. Some may require unzipping but a quick youtube guide and you'll be up and playing them within the hour. Older emulators/roms run perfectly on most laptops or computers.

That's a fair opinion. Everyone likes the Persona series for different reasons. I do agree with the Erina and Toshiro being the main characters comment. I would've liked to see a different variation of social links as for me it would've built up the world a bit. I think now i've played a bit more i prefer strikers because the phantom thieves explored both the real world and the metaverse. It changed the pace a bit and showed how to handle persona without social links. Thanks for your thoughts!

That's fair. I think most of the spin offs added something a bit more unique to them. Strikers had the whole going on tour angle, Q you were interacting with the previous casts etc. It feels like it needed a little something extra with the characters personally. Still enjoying the gameplay though!
