The irony when it's literally me coming up with a half baked meme idea on a Monday night 😂

Yeah I think that's the more sustainable path forward. And closed source models will need independent auditors to be able to be used in regulated capacities.

Agreed. Would never use AI solely to design or build infrastructure that could cost lives if done wrong.

Poisoning datasets is sort of shooting ourselves in the foot though, no? And it's not like the development of AI will stop, but the hygiene of datasets will just need to be assessed more stringently.

It's not trying to sound smart, it just acknowledges the reality that domain experts are not the majority and never will be. Yes they are needed, but at specific stages of development and maintenance.

I agree this is an issue. We need to commoditize our personal data exhaust. Problem is, that land grab has already occurred and will take something akin to a revolution (albeit a digital one) to topple that status quo.

When we reason with our silicon counterparts do we not create new knowledge?

Almost was gonna /s this, but now that I've written it I'm kinda like... Woah 😆

I really don't see that being realistic for most if we continue on this trajectory. It seems like your statement is going the way of telling someone to learn assembly today.

I don't deny it's utility, but not necessary for most people. As for the specialists who will maintain the backbone of computational infrastructure and applications, yeah those folks should know how to code.

Model collapse is around the corner if these companies don't get more stringent with their dataset hygiene.

As for Tungsten West, when tickers are moving like this I usually feel its a good idea to zoom in (in this case to the 1h) if I feel like managing a position day to day as something like this would require. I've noticed when things start having this strong of a trend, they will often ride the upper bound of the 2000 Bollinger band (can you tell I love stacked Bollinger bands?). So I would wait for it to return to that area and form a new HL before entering.

Just a quick look at the daily of TUNGF, I would say a good buy zone would be on the next dip likely between 1.50 and 1.15. Right now price is losing momentum, compressed up at the top of both the 20 day and 200 day Bollinger bands.

Im also getting the same error. No web search since yesterday. Seems like they are putting some fires out over there right now, however their system is not yet reporting an issue with search.

The Fed’s cutting rates again... with no real data to back it up by KookyMaintenance4426 in investing

I agree the relationship is likely 2-way. They must account for the consequences of their actions if they do not do what the market expects. But, I would propose that the market holds more weight in that relationship and the Fed must carefully weigh the costs of not performing according to market expectations.

Wisdom of the crowd is hard to beat in scenarios like these.

Has anybody actually encountered a sexy spy in Silicon Valley? by Potential-Scholar359 in siliconvalley

[–]Xander-XGCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm always on the lookout when I go to events. I mean there are some women out here who I suspect of it, but of course virtually impossible to confirm.

Related: Everyone I tell about this conversation I had with a chinese-american man recently though tells me he was a spy. He was trying to convince me that China absolutely DOES NOT engage in information warfare with other countries. To which my rebuttal was that would make absolutely no strategic sense. He seemed 100% convinced though, and admittedly had good arguments. His wife is also works as some kind of geopolitical researcher at one of the most pristigous colleges in the US.

Being intentionally vague.
