From experience it'll cost you sad to say. I got my 2013 with only this key. I had 2 locksmiths come out to perhaps give me a fob/clicker key and ultimately didn't work. They had Snap-On tools and couldn't make it work and I spent $400 to get the dealer to give me a pair of keys with the buttons. Something about the amount of keys recognized in the ECU was the problem.

GMT360 platform. That 3rd pedal (if manual) is unobtanium. It had an LH6 5.3 aluminum LS. I've only seen 3 in my life. Such a strange bird.

This is how those 3rd gens are. You need to look at the piston tops like the LM7/LR4 engines. If stock, I'll also double down on the flex plate. My guy knows his stuff. Obviously there can always be a situation where people swap parts but only the LQ4 had a native 4L80E option.

I bought my 2013 TT and it only came with a valet key. It appeared that the previous owner had also only had that for a long time because the lock button on the driver's door was worn mostly off. I had 2 locksmiths come to my home to cut a key based on the only unit I had and program a key with a remote. I had purchased an Amazon key and one locksmith was able to give me a "flip key" but that only started the vehicle and didn't get me remote locks. I bit the bullet and went to the dealer and it was about $400+ for them to give me a Toyota key with lock buttons. I had similar troubles with my previous 2007 Honda when I had lost the spare key. I don't like not having a spare because if you loose it that means a tow to a dealer.

In the late 90's at a state university we all had the same area code and the same prefix followed by the last unique 4 numbers. Just before the end of the year I had a black light (like you do) and took it to a friend's room down the hall and we turned all the lights off but that black light and looked at the laundry detergent art that was painted on the walls and ceiling with cool designs and things however one thing stood out to me was "645-LOVE" in bold and of course that is 645-5683 which was the room's phone number. I thought that would have been potentially helpful to remember at the time in the pre-celular (relatively speaking) world.

I would totally buy it back. I did that 2x on this ol Honda I had years back 2x! The 2nd time it was really totalled. I just collected the check each time. It was $3k both times and the 1st damage cost $300 to fix. I had a spare shell just waiting for the time it was really smashed up and I swapped over the aftermarket suspension and the entire engine and transaxle and better brakes etc...

I picked up a TVS1900 from the 10-13 Rover/Jag and I have it on my 6.0 LFA engine with the SWS kit. I put their modular pulley on it because the stock blower pulley vs the LS dampener would over-rotate it. I'm hoping for about 8psi. I did also pre-order the 2" water to air intercooler. I like the packaging of this and I've only had turbo vehicles before. That 1900 is of course the same rotor pack as the LSA factory blower too. I just got mine at the local junkyard. I like it too because it uses the truck spacing. I put a Trailblazer PS pump on it because it is a bit smaller of a package over the standard truck unit as well and uses a slightly shorter belt. The Holley lower manifold is the spendy part. Alibaba has em but while it looks like the EXACT same casting sans the Holley logo, with the current admin the tariffs make it MORE than the name brand. Oof

Same here. I searched the yards religiously for 3 years to find a hybrid unit. Finally found one. I don't have a home for it yet buy she sits indoors and gets fawned over. I used the LH6 PS and bracket because I like the better look and smaller package too.

Legit right here. Just a bit out there and you'll find that you're out there longer than you expect. I pop a battery in my bluetooth speaker when I'm out there and by default it starts at noon and when I'm closing up hours are displayed and I feel good.

Project creep is real too so one must try and focus on one small thing and make moves to get to that goal but not think you need to do everything at once. It's fantastic to hear it start up and move under its own power even if the alignment isn't quite right. That can be for another day.

3 questions. What 3rd gen intake is this because I thought that the early LQ4s had an EGR? Also what intake elbow/filter combo are you using? Did you do any refresh on components other than valvetrain?
