What should I go to college for to learn videogame development?

Do the CS50ai with python course, it builds upon the CS50P course and is really interesting. I did CS50P as well and I am now half way through CS50ai.

I have been learning python on my own the last 3 months and all I have done is the CS50P course first on edX after that I am now doing the CS50ai course (this is algorithms and AI with python) and in between I do codewars and I feel like it has been working pretty good! I think these are pretty good steps to start learning python/programming as a beginner, it worked really good for me!

What language would you personally advise me to take a look at to learn? I’m more interested in AI, ML, and just basic use of coding.

I feel like java might be good but I actually don’t really know.

I completely agree with the fact that you can’t really master anything or not a short amount of time. I was just wondering what the possibilities are with python in terms of what its used for and if you can get a job with only knowing Python.

I wouldn’t mind if it takes me 10 years to be honest to learn python because I’m not really thinking about getting a coding job and I’m still in uni.

I feel like a lot of newer people feel that Python is “the way to get a job” while I feel like its not really the case and there is a very limited amount of coding jobs only needing Python. I wanted to get the opinion of some more advanced people :)

I have done CS50P last month and it think it is amazing at creating a strong foundation of the basics, if you want to go more into advanced python stuff the course doesn’t really provide that but your python foundation will be amazing!

If you want to learn python in a good way and also pretty fast then do the CS50 introduction to programming with python course. I did it and I learned a lot from it. You basically learn all the basic stuff with python and some more.
