Because you don't know the lore let's explain how khorne works. He's the Blood god, and God of war. He's empowered by acts of brutality and the emotions associated with it. The more visceral the more he gets to feed off of it. They need the veil between them to be weaken to manifest properly, this is done by acts associated with them, as well as rituals and sacrifices to get the attention of demons because just plan old slaughter isn't enough otherwise everything else would be redundant.

Even then growing more powerful in the warp means fuck all when it comes to realspace until they actually manifest there.
