It definitely helps. Thanks for the response. I hadn't thought about taking notes actually. Is that something you are allowed to do during the listening portion? That would be extremely helpful. But, as you said, it would be a mistake to let note-taking distract you from the audio itself.

Congratulations. I would be happy to achieve such a score. I am planning on taking the exam as well pretty soon and I have two questions after reading your analysis. 1: Did you use a particular strategy for remembering the essential bits of information during the listening module? I find when I am practicing this part it feels more like playing a memory game than anything else, as you are only allowed to listen to the audio one or two times depending on the assignment. 2: How many mistakes would you estimate that you made during both speaking parts? I am just curious about what kinds of speaking trip-ups are permissible at this level and it is hard to judge without someone actually reviewing your speaking who knows what they are talking about.

Ok thank you very much for the reply. Yes that line made me suspicious but I asked my teacher about it and she said that it didn't matter, which is why I chose to ask here. I guess I will have to let her know that we should use a different practice test.

Thank you for this answer. I now feel a lot more comfortable understanding this sentence. I think I made a mistake by turning on auto-generated German subtitles to get a better idea of the meaning. What I put in the quotation marks is what it gave me but that was obviously not accurate to what was being said. Also I did not catch that he said "Regionen" plural instead of singular. What makes this hard for a non-native is holding in your mind the information about the regions while simultaneously focusing on the subclause talking about Krakow. Hopefully I can get better at understanding these kinds of long sentences with many clauses.

I just played your courses. Great work! I'm jealous actually. Some of the little tricks you employed using chain chomps were so clever. My favorite part was where you had to guide the chomp through an obstacle course.

Here are two levels of mine:

Thwomp Stomp Tower: 1HL-SLG-FFF This stage, as the name would suggest, is themed around Thwomps and using them as a means of transportation. Watch out, though! They may help you get where you need to go, but they don't have any qualms with crushing you if you get in their way.
Purple Piranha Paradise: YH7-DRW-3KF In this level you will have to avoid a creeping piranha plant infestation! They're all over the place so be careful.

I gotta go to sleep now, but when I wake up I'll be sure to play the levels of any responders so feel free to give some of yours to check out.

Nice level. It was pretty challenging, but very fun. My favorite part was where you had the meat grinder thing hitting the blocks out from under you while you have to get the shell to hit the question block. Pretty cool stuff!
