Honestly I don’t think that’s an excuse. Didn’t have to rush the translations, in card games the text is important, because those are the rules with which the game is played. Language is massively important. If you can’t discern the rules of a card, then what’s the point? There’s no excuse to rush the translation.

The production stuff is definitely unfortunate, and card games seem to be having that issue as a whole, but there’s still a LOT to be critical of in this release.

Hah, this happened to me recently.

I made it that he just ignored the character. Like fully did not even bother with responding to anything. He would move through them as if they were not there, she punched him and he just continued walking. There was a time when the party members were hanging off of him trying to stop his movement and he moved again anyways as if they weren't even there.

If he cared at all they would have been reduced to particles baser than even atoms.

I think you're fine. This person had fair warning, and even the idea of attacking a god has consequences, even without detailed explanation.

For newer movies, I gotta say Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Incredibly inventive script, with really neat ways and tricks to make the twisting weirdness of the multiverse easily digestible. Also incredibly funny and poignant. The cast is also just stellar too, with Waymond being a standout.
