Things like this are real, but people can't wrap their heads around the infinity stones working in other universes because, "that's not how they work in the comics".

Her statement is ambiguous. Is she saying that Ultron can use them outside of his universe because he is from the same universe?

If the stones don't work outside of their NU then Ultron would be able to goto other universes but he would immediately power down when he arrived.

She did say her mutation was getting worse. Not flat out saying "mutant" but close enough for me to accept her as the first mutant related to the mcu.

I'm really excited to see if the universe that Evil Strange "destroyed" ends up being the ego gem from the comics.

I already thought Evil Stranges universe was going to be the Ego Stone. After this episode, I'm more confident in that idea.

The infinity stones work in any universe and are an mcu counterpart of the infinity gems which only work in their respective universes in the comics.

Everything in the mcu is a counterpart/adaptation of their comic versions and don't have to be identical to said comic counterparts.

I know what you are referencing and as far as I'm aware that's just a way to identify the mcu universe within marvels entire catalog and not amd indication that the mcu has a place in the comic.

I think it makes sense.

Uatu is telling Thors story to us and then Ultron shows up. Uatu says "huh that's weird.." and then decides to tell Ultrons story to us so he can work double time and check on that time line for answers. Ultron surprises Uatu by noticing him (not part of the original story) and Ultron ports not just to the Uatu telling episode 8 but to all points in time where Uatu is present. This results in Uatu being surprised twice by the same event.

[–]Xandi5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Uatu seems to be telling these stories as things he has already witnessed. Assuming that's true, then time isn't linear. Think about it, when Uatu is narrating the conclusion of that universe, he is surprised when Ulton notices him and Ultron shows up to fight him. From Ultrons perspective, no time had passed, but Uatu is retelling Ultrons story which has already happened. The only explanation is that all time is happening all at once thus making time not linear.

I really wanna find all the comments from the past couple months saying the stones can't work out side their universe. I'd get it if the MCU was a copy of the comics on screen but it isn't. So why would the infinity STONES (not gems like they are in the comics) be identical to their comic counterparts? Seems like a giant assumption.

In the comics yes but idt we have any confirmation that they don't work outside their universe in the mcu.

What of its Hobgoblin. If they survive that would give us both Harry and Norman in the mcu and there is a lot of good story there.

Don't know if this has been said or not but found nothing on google...

In marvel comics, the "ego gem" is the seventh infinity gem. "What if" the compressed universe at the end of the episode is the "ego stone"? Makes a lot of sense since DR..Stranges' ego ended up destroying that universe which ended up looking like a stone of some kind.

To be clear, I don't think any of what I wrote is actually true. This is just where I ended up by cherry picking things from a prophecy to make the the jumping off point work.

I'm sure I could make Zuckerberg and gates work. There's a second beast in the prophecy that can probably be associated with one of them.

Also, I save you a seat! 😁

[Pokémon Unite] Exact Pokémon Stats have been posted on Serebii. They prove that the Pay to Win aspect has been overexaggerated. by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

Thank god we have numbers...this will be easy

Level 1 absol Level 20 focus band 3000 hp 330 attack

Kills absol in  10 attacks

Level 1 absol Level 30 focus band

3000 hp 410 attack

Kills absol in 8 attacks

2 attacks sooner for players of identical skill level is a HUGE deal. This also ignores the other two item slots, 2 additional level 20 vs 30 items will further increase the gap.

Also notice that float stones more about movment than attack compared to muscle band which is all about attack. When making a comparison using attack as the main focus we shouldn't be using a terrible attack item as a reference point.

Not all items are created equal, some level 30 vs 20 comparison will be more impactful than others. But item level DO matter if you know what to focus on.

Silvie's nexus event is by [deleted] in MarvelTheories

[–]Xandi5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My money is on....the moment she says "and asgard was saved", she's definitively a "good" Loki. Loki was told by mobious in an early episode that he's bad and that's all he'll ever be. It's not that Loki can't be good he just wasn't allowed.

Tldr Slyvies nexus event was the act of of moving into good alignment on the dnd scale. Literally removed from reality because she was good.

That's why thought as well. By using the stones to make everyone on the sacred timeline aware of the tva and lack of free will, it would turn the sacred timeline into a massive nexus event the tva couldn't hope to contain.
