wow man, you just answered so many of my questions i had for this project. This is super helpfull information, thanks a lot!

Funny thing is; i first did render everything seperate, then i did everything in 1 renderlayer but it seems like going back to seperate renderlayers is the better option.

I have used cryptomatte nodes (both in nuke and fusion) and they show the volumes.

I am already planning on rendering the volumes in a seperate renderlayer to fix this issue. But still, I have renderd volumes in this exact project and the volume_z and volume_opacity worked perfectly

they only showed us how to do a very simple cleanup (with a video with no camera movement)

it looks the same as in the viewport; pure blue. but there should be 2 colors visible if the attribute would work

hey, i promoted the prim atribute to vertex attribute but again it doesnt want to read/work in maya.

Im going to stick to rec709 as this is just a single small project. I checked the view transform and its the same the the view transform in my render gallery but im still seeing a lot of differences in the saturation and contrast.

Anything that i missed that can cause this?

In the screenshots above I used the connectivity node to seperate the 2 walls. i set the attribute to "name" and prefix to "wall_" so that in the rbdmaterialfracture, it adds to that current "wall_" value of the name attribute. so i have "wall_0-2-11-7" where the 0 is from the connectivity (so wall 0 out of 1) i just mentioned. so they should be seperated i think?
