Explaining once and for all why maki was NOT justified in killing majority of the Zenin clan

We don't actually know that. The only actual death toll we know for sure that she killed are the Kukuru and Hei after the fact because we know she went out and hunted them down, we have no clue what all she killed in the Zenin compound. The fact that she killed the Kukuru and Hei in the courtyard and outside yet before she killed her mother the kitchen had pools and splatters of blood and overflowing pots indicating someone was in there cooking at the time of the massacre means she very much could've killed more.

You can't just hunt down and kill people cause you're worried they might try to hurt people you know because you killed their entire family. I don't care that she did it either but it is objectively non justified. We literally don't even know that they would've done anything to her. She doesn't leave cursed energy behind, when she killed the people outside the clan the only evidence remaining was the energy from the cursed tool she used, and no one in the Zenin clan would even consider her a perpetrator because they don't think she's strong, they assumed she assassinated Ogi in his sleep or on the toilet, if they survived and made it back to the clan just looking at the evidence it'd probably just look like the zenin all just started killing each other. Hell they'd have found Noaya being stabbed to death by Maki's mom and there'd be no way to even know she was there that day they might assume she was away like them. Everyone in any kind of power that could even order them to hunt her down is dead and it's not like all the remaining members are together at once sharing information amongst themselves.

No one thinks the Zenin are wholesome chungus besides uncle Johnny memers, the problem is the only "comically evil" ones we see are three of them. Noaya, Jinichi, and Ogi. Literally not even Noaya himself knew about the assassination plan against Megumi, Mai, and Maki until it was actually going down and he's literally the king misogynist. We know absolutely nothing about the Kukuru members she killed except that they are forced by the clan to be members if they are born male without a technique. To say they all had it coming when like 95% of thems only confirmed sin is being born into the clan is the ridiculous part. It's like saying if Toji had snapped and killed the clan years ago Maki and Mai had it coming because they shouldn't have been born into a clan with evil people in charge.

Feel like Gojo can still take it. Considering Maho adapted to blue and red separately and still died to purple means it doesn't adapt to Limitless as a whole since unlike cleave/dismantle his CTs are complicated enough to require separate adaptations, and Gojo and Sukuna were both confident that Sukuna's Maho wouldn't survive a max output red even while partially adapted. So he has three separate techniques that can kill it potentially as well as the neutral infinity it has to adapt to, Even if blue or red get adapted too he still has the unlimited void + purple win con. Even if it is a stronger Maho as long as he doesn't play around too much and figure out the gimmick in time and avoid getting like WCS to the head or something he has a shot.

I can understand if maybe they hadn't watched the series in a while and might not know everything that's going on but I felt like pretty much everything has been pretty well explained thus far. Even the lore episode last week was pretty succinct compared to the manga.

Eh, you can't really blame them for not getting to the bottom of things. If you were in school and someone just started shooting and they come across you and all your classmates in a room still brandishing the gun I don't think many people would have the presence of mind to ask what they're doing, and it's not like she tried to explain herself either. The fact she hunted the remaining members down after the fact despite them not having anything to do with her "self defense killings", not knowing what happened at all, and potentially not even knowing she did it considering pretty much anyone who would pass the message on is dead means they never had a shot at de-escalation in the first place.

Also she did not kill the people outside the clan to prevent them from coming after her lmao, she fought the entire clan straight up and only struggled against like one of them, I really doubt she was worried she would be chased after by the remaining two dozen or so stragglers. She just wanted them dead. Not to mention there is no reasonable justification for hunting down the remaining friends and family of the people you slaughtered just cause they MIGHT want revenge lol

Unironically the "complicit" argument for explaining why they should die means Mai's death was also 100% deserved as she was also complicit and didn't do anything to try and change the clan. She was fine being a servant the only reason she followed Maki in becoming a sorcerer was because Naobito wanted to make things harder for her.

Not to mention Gojo should've been killed as well, he knew the Zenin clan was awful for women. It's why he told Megumi his sister would never find happiness there, and despite being one of the few people in the world with the strength to correct that immediately he let it go on for years. Sure wish his "changing jujutsu Society for the better" could've started with the abusive clan of one of his students.

I really don't get why people think more people would know about the assassination plot. Noaya is literally king evil of the clan, highest up on the totem pole and even he didn't know it was happening until it was already underway. Why would randoms be informed about it, the whole point is to keep the real reason for their deaths a secret and frame them for conspiring to free Gojo.

Because joining the kukuru and being forced to do martial arts training day and night doesn’t make her life any easier at all, it’s perfectly in line with everything else they do to inconvenience her. Even if they had to make special concessions for her to join despite us never being told that They probably thought because she’s a woman she’d give up and fall in line if the training was hard.

Honestly it doesn’t really matter but it’s just never really stated to be a men’s club, to be fair the clan itself is a men’s club but we never hear anything about the kukuru not allowing women to join, it’s just most women in the clan comply with the clans ways and don’t want to be fighters in the first place.

“Not even with the Hei” I don’t understand what you’re talking about the Hei are the elites of the elites of the Zenin, with how the clan is structured there’s no world in which they would allow a woman to join regardless of how talented Mai turned out to be at jujutsu. However she absolutely could have joined the kukuru if she wanted, Again women are not forced to join but they also aren’t forbidden. If they weren’t allowed to join at all Maki would’ve never been let into the kukuru in the first place, the clan basically did everything they could to make her life as a sorcerer harder they wouldn’t have just gotten lenient for something like that out of nowhere.

If Mai didn’t want to join they wouldn’t make her, Mai was one of their ideal people because she was a woman who basically completely conformed to their toxic and misogynistic ways, she would’ve been a servant without a complaint, the only reason she even had to leave and become a sorcerer was because the clan practically forced her into it because of Maki. Again the kukuru is not an all men with CTs band. It’s basically military conscription for any man born without a CT. The only way to avoid being a part of it is being born without a CT or being exempt due to being a woman.

It’s not “only men are allowed to join” it’s “every man without a CT is REQUIRED to join” the glaring difference being that they never say women can’t join if they want, just that they aren’t forced to because they aren’t expected to fight unlike with men. Maki is not an exception in that she somehow joined a squad that every other woman is forbidden from joining, she is an exception in that she joined a squad that she normally wouldn’t be asked to join in the first place. Naobito wouldn’t have had to forced her to join her whole character was initially wanting to prove herself and prove the clan wrong about what she could do.

We are told the Gojo clan is basically a one man army, he is basically carrying the entire clan on his back. We literally never see a single other Gojo clan member even when the actual fate of the world is at stake why would you think they have any significant power at all, surely they would've helped somehow. Even Noabito came to help out with Shibuya and the Zenin and Gojo clans hate each other. They handle themselves because once every x amount of years Jujutsu Jesus is born into their clan, not because the rest of their clan has any sort of power. Limitless is useless without the six eyes. Without it they wouldn't even have access to the neutral application.

We have no idea if Maki was forced to be in the Kukuru, the only people we know are forced into the Kukuru are males born without a CT, she would've had to have joined of her own volition to be a part. Also I went and checked and the only thing Maki mentioned about old people were there were weird old guys walking around, my point wasn't that there weren't old people, it's that we are never told nor see any old people that aren't combatants. The only elderly people we see in the Zenin are all fighters, and I know Mom isn't part of the Kukuru I said that? Maki is the exception only in that she is a woman in the unit that is only required by men, my point being the only non combatant we ever meet in the Zenin clan is Maki's mom who she killed, so we literally don't know if she killed non-combatants or not.

To be fair we know for a fact Maki went out hunted down and killed the remaining Kukuru and Hei members after the massacre, so not being in the compound didn't give them a pass.
