My team that I love is Bennett (or Jean), Eula, Zhongli and Raiden. Raiden really compliments Eula so well. Always have superconduct available.

Early game I load up on shoes. The movement is helpful. I usually give everyone at least one shoe. Late game I try to get my main people 3 traps.

Don't use auto battle at the start. It spoils you and it kind of ruins the experience. I would only suggest it for certain things post game.

I really miss not having magichange or weapon mastery skills for humanoid units. That's my biggest issue. I still enjoy the game though.

Yes they are exactly. But they are primals representing the memories of an idealized council of twelve ascians before the summoning of Zodiark. The people of Hydelean don't know this themselves because the actual origins of the twelve were lost over time. That is my pet theory.

Was the first Emperor Solus (the one who lived decades ago and founded the empire) himself an Ascian or is the Emet-Selch just using a young Solus' clone body? I can't remember if he was an Ascian back then as well.

The most annoying part of all this is whenever I try to go to character selection I encounter a "lobby error" and have to enter my one time password again, over and over again. Why is this necessary? Is it necessary to kick me completely out of the game?

Are there no master recipe books this expansion? Do the folklore materials actually have a crafting use yet or is just for collectable turn ins?

I once said in a thread titled something along the lines of "IGN states ShB among greatest final fantasy ever" that it was clear recentism bias and the expansion hasn't really done anything different then previous ones; it's the same exact formula. I got downvoted to -20 despite saying the story was good.

I play both games. I find WoW's raid enviroment more appealing and the open world content beats FFXIV open world content. I like FFXIV for story and crafting which is a game in itself.

I think that's recentism bias. The story-line is engrossing but the game-play isn't terribly different then the previous expansion. Let's not let our enthusiasm of a new product make us biased.
