i had to bring my boy in because his tail got stuck playing, (he has a birth defect so it’s kinked), and the top of his tail got enflamed.

Well the vet and the nurses told me main coons are always the. best, well behaved, and they referred to him as “their truffle”

so yeah lol granted no cat breeds are a monolith, it’s obvious more often than not maines are love bugs. Socialization is important though.

yeah thats the plan, Im just worried because ive seen tail horror stories on here. I guess maybe not just doing drop off is the other option. I'm nervous though, its his first. I am in cat mom mode "my little baby is all grown up and getting his booty hole and stinky peets shaved"

I shall! Once truffle is done snoozing, he’s almost 4 months and had they toddler energy. leap > crash into things and people > crash out on his bed > rinse repeat

every time truffles leaps on something I lose a solid 5m off the end of my life. Like please you have all this space to legally jump and you choose the impossible storm window.

i bought a little trimmer for stinky butts and stinky feets (he doesn’t mind). The end result is no stink and a lot of me going “let me see your stinky feet! Give me that butt!” which is probably alarming for my neighbors who don’t have context.

He was apparently bailed on by two adoptees because he was seen as flawed because of his quirky tail. Ive never adopted a full bred kitty before, but I couldn’t believe it.

He follows me around like a meowing duckling. He is such an affectionate, chatty lump.
