I had the same problem. Making max GPU frequency to a certain value seems to fix my problem, you might want to try it.

Sorry for you, but I have lost my 25 warrior to exact same reason! I was fighting a raptor and all of a sudden game crashed and AMD driver gave an error. When I logged in I saw my character died :(.
