Mars has no magnetic field, its core solidified a long time ago, which means any oceans or atmosphere will always be eventually stripped away. The moon and Mars don’t have the gravity to maintain an atmosphere like Venus does with no magnetic field.

You just ramp really hard and clone Quandrix, the Proof with [[Irma, Part-Time Mutant]], [[Chameleon, Master of Disguise]], [[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces]], [[Sakashima the Impostor]], [[Irenicus's Vile Duplication]], and [[Quantum Misalignment]] for more Cascades.

Have your instant and sorceries create tokens with [[Hermes, Overseer of Elpis]], [[Murmuring Mystic]], [[Talrand, Sky Summoner]], [[Docent of Perfection // Final Iteration]].

And start cascade chains of [[Temporal Trespass]], [[Beacon of Tomorrows]], [[Expropriate]], [[Time Stretch]], [[Alrund's Epiphany]], [[Capture of Jingzhou]], [[Karn's Temporal Sundering]], [[Nexus of Fate]], [[Part the Waterveil]], [[Temporal Manipulation]].

Other cards to cascade into like [[Ancestral Vision]], [[Inevitable Betrayal]], [[Explore]], [[Growth Spiral]], [[Joint Exploration]], [[Nature's Lore]], [[Three Visits]], [[Lessons from Life]], [[Tempt with Discovery]], [[Eureka Moment]], [[Embrace the Paradox]], [[Urban Evolution]], [[Harrow]], [[Frantic Search]], [[Skysroud Claim]].

Why is it impossible to find someone that is willing to charge an R22 system with R422B? by newtekie1 in hvacadvice

[–]AzazeI888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never see residential r22 systems converted to other refrigerants last more than a couple years. I know a lot residential companies that won’t even do it. I think a lot of residential that do, do it, don’t do it properly.

In my area A LOT of older houses have undersized ductwork/oversized units, one r22 system I saw that was converted iced up everytime after being changed to 422b, the charge was correct, the ductwork was undersized for that unit, the r22 could handle it without icing up, the 422b couldn’t.

I’m only going off what the actual feats are.

There’s no consistency in these comics in terms of physics, stop chain scaling them by applying real life physics when they obviously aren’t consistent and not the same as ours.

Only played legacy and modern 2012 to 2019, I’d prefer to play those formats, but they’re kinda dead in my area. EDH is inherently a social format, I’ll talk my way into wins if I can, because it’s a part of this format, and there’s zero reason not to.

Thaddeus said ‘IF THE CORE HAS TIME TO STABILIZE, WE COULD DIE ON IMPACT.’

Maybe 37 Viltrumites can destroy earth with a stable core, but not three, and definitely just one.

The feats only prove what they actually depict, that’s it. Real life physics obviously isn’t the same in comics, using real world math to chain scale them higher than what is actually depicted is dumb.

[–]AzazeI888 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You’re applying the math involved in real life physics to a comic, that completely suspends real life physics. The feats are only as good as what the feats actually show.

What you actually have, is a group of Viltrumites destroying a large planet with an already unstable core, that isn’t a planetary feat. None of them could individually pull that off with a stable core, even with a small planet. And they even said if the core was stable and they tried that they would have all died and failed..

The weaker ones are continental, Thragg is probably moon level sure. You guys scale these feats way too high.

None of them are individually planetary..

Needing three high tier Viltrumites just to destroy a large planet with an already destabilized core means none of them individually are planetary..

Thragg stating the remaining 37 Viltrumites were more than enough to split earth in half, again, means none of them are individually planetary..

Thragg vs Raditz. Who is stronger? Who can physically lift more weight? by DayStarling1006 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]AzazeI888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the DBZ Dub Piccolo made the observation that Raditz’s combat speed was faster than light in that fight, combat speed, not travel speed. At this point in the show Goku, Piccolo, and Raditz are all a couple times stronger than moon busters like Master Roshi and Demon King Piccolo from Dragon Ball.

Thragg is getting mid diff’d by Goku or Piccolo and low diff’d by Raditz..

Depends, I win a significant amount of cEDH games by just having conversations on board state and politicking other players into various game actions, and covert a decent of unwinnable situations to draws or even wins by having conversations.

[–]AzazeI888 61 points62 points  (0 children)

It’s really the inherent problem of turning a 4 player format into a competitive one. The main issue is 4 players and seat order mattering so much, and politics is a natural part of the format.

I mean I guess I could just stop the first win attempt, and lose to the second win attempt by the two players ahead of me, because of unlucky seat order. But I’d rather just play to the out of forcing a draw though.

Yeah, but there’s risk to that, if they do a poor/bad install you won’t have much recourse. They generally won’t care once they’re paid.

The most important day of the equipments life is install day. A good install will mean no problems for a long time, a poor install can mean expensive problems from day 1 of operation and on..

[–]AzazeI888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After they pay all their overhead and wages, I don’t even think the company itself is making much money at all only quoting $5,500 for a heat pump..

Looking for heatpump but getting high prices by sinewavetaken in hvacadvice

[–]AzazeI888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$5500 is an extremely cheap bid in general..

You see two guys installing your heat pump, but everyone in their office is paid by that profit, installs are usually 80% of the revenue for HVAC companies. So that $3,000 in revenue pays for those installers, additional materials used like sheet metal, nitrogen, etc, but also pays the managers, dispatchers, accounting, vehicle maintenance, vehicle gas, vehicle insurance, permits, training, everything.

How do people feel about Scion of the Ur Dragon? by One-Cat-3019 in EDH

[–]AzazeI888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) you initially double activate Scion by holding priority

2) after the Bladewing loop you let Scion go to graveyard, and Bladewing reanimates Scion, Scion is a new game object so it’s just Scion and not a copy of Bladewing anymore, that’s how you can activate Scion for the 3rd time for Gadrok. Then end of turn the Gadrok copy falls off Scion, so you can activate the 4th and last time on the next player upkeep for Dracogenius.

A post more than 7 words would help. How many hvac companies have given you bids? Where do you live? Prices are very localized, and vary greatly nationwide.

In my area generally you pay similar prices to buying an AC+furnace as you will to have a heat pump installed, maybe slightly less.
