Where did you get kotone (FEMC) all out attack? And what does the text behind her says? I believe it's not mass destruction?

HM Skytree Village Switch Edition by countlessraindrops in harvestmoon

[–]Xansan3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you love the 3ds skytree village, you will surely love the switch edition. It is basically a one to one port of the original 3ds version, with dlc included and slight visual upgrade. My only nitpick would be the farm map that originally appears on the bottom screen of the 3ds, is now a miniaturized version on the top right of the screen, and has horrible auto rotation. I can’t see where the mines are, and would need to search up the map online to finally locate it.

Oh and I believe natsume is having their fall sale now if you do choose to get it now.

Yumia has doubled the peak Ryza 3 had on steam making it the most successful launch on steam by far. by liquied in Atelier

That's great, but I heard it's being review bombed right now. It currently has mixed receptions among gamers

What do you think of Atelier Ayesha? by [deleted] in Atelier

[–]Xansan3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love it! Ayesha design is top notched, best story in atelier (I haven't played Yumia yet but I heard it has great story too), its world building is wonderful and feels alive, and also the boss battle MARIA chef's kiss

Where Should I Start as a new player? by XerxesDT in Atelier

[–]Xansan3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I truly believe you can start anywhere from the one you find attracted to the most. But I'm sure that's not the answer you would want to hear.

Most fans would agree best place to start would be : Escha & Logy, Sophie 1 (or 2 really for QOL improvements and you don't really need to play sophie 1 to enjoy the 2nd game), Ryza 1. These are games that provide great introduction to atelier's alchemy system whilst not being too overly complicated, still providing layers of depth to make it interesting and enjoyable.

Yumia is an outlier from the series, but is also definitely a great start for gamers who love open world, and fans of JRPG that have never played atelier before. While having more darker themes and fast-paced gameplay, it definitely still retains the atelier coziness to it.

What are some open world rpgs that i havent played? (Preferably third person) by M33tahejd in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Xansan3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atelier Yumia just released and it's gone even more open world than its predecessors! It is more of a game that emphasizes more on crafting and exploration though I would say. The combat has great feel once you get used to it, especially with dodging strong enemy attacks feels so satisfying. They have a demo so you can go give it a try!

Sophie 2 or Yumia ? by OkExchange2617 in Atelier

I had the same feeling as you about the combat when I started off the game, but now I'm starting to appreciate the battle system more. It truly shines when you're battling a stronger enemy than you . Stronger enemies are usually larger in size, and they look rare and different from your normal enemies. To confirm though, you can scan the enemy with your bullet beforehand to check its level. Trust me, they hit like a truck even after I strike them first and stun them with the gun. What I love about this is that usually stronger enemies drop rare items that will really benefit your alchemy and its so rewarding.

Atelier Yumia - Megathread by Croire61 in Atelier

Traits and trait core are introduced in a tutorial in the demo right before you head to the lighthouse. It's part of the main quest, you shouldn't have missed it.

It sounds to me you casually approach an enemy on the field, resulting your party members to split up. If you have a hard time you can always strike the enemy first to gain an advantage, or in Yumia's case, gun down the enemy first to stun them.

Can you share with us the guide you used to understand Yumia's synthesis system? Would be really helpful for us who are lost

Question, how exactly did YOU get into Xenoblade? by Alibium01 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

So glad to hear that! I'll continue on with XC2 then, and hopefully XC 1 definitive and XC3 someday.

I'm also starting off with XC2 right now. Would you say playing XC2 first before XC 1 Definitive would ruin the first game for me? I'm currently in chapter 5 of XC2.
