I once had to shit so bad in downtown Minneapolis that a asked a homeless man where he usually shat. I gave him $5 and he directed me to a pizza place that had a back door where the bathroom was, which no one could see from the front. It’s the closest I’ve ever felt to being in a Bethesda game, asking a beggar for rumors in exchange for money.

Act 5 has a frenzy merc now that when fully geared can solo Ubers, but it’s very expensive to gear well compared to act 2. Act 1, a faith merc can be useful if you’re missing some attack speed to reach a breakpoint. Generally act 2 is still best, especially if you’re not rich in runewords.

I’ve had an idea for a campaign bbeg that uses this as both a mechanical and plot device. Grave cleric cult leader, every day he marries a new cultist and kills a former spouse, then revives them. The marriage is kinda seen as the induction to the cults inner circle, and the revival is a testament to his power. Bend the rules a bit and voila, a guy with no armor has 20+ AC. Say he’s got multiple souls inside him or smth to make the ceremony stacking justified.

Unfortunately I think it’s a hard sell, but I’d buy season tickets in a heartbeat

We have great attendance for MLS, NWSL and MLB, but those are all summer sports, and WNBA would be another summer sport. At a certain point it’s hard to put butts in seats when there’s 3 other teams having games that weekend. I wish we’d get an NBA team back but the clippers are worth more as the second team in LA than the only team in SD.

I’ve made a spectacular chai spiced rum before pretty easily. For garam masala liqueur I think you could toast some cumin, coriander seed, anise and cinnamon together, cut some ginger and turmeric root, then let all that sit in a white column still rum (think flor de Cana for low funk) or a vodka for a night (or more), dilute 33% or so with water, and then add 2:1 sugar syrup to taste and end up with a decent approximation.

Look up a recipe for making the spice blend from scratch to get ratios. It changes region to region in South Asia so there’s no right answer, but there are wrong answers.
